I am surprised to say I liked it. I am curious to see more. It is about a con-woman and her marks. She is a bad girl who leaves heartbreak wherever she goes.

I'm currently into the 2nd episode and i'm giving up on this show. The persons aren't believable at all. This show is written so poorly, it's a waste of your time. I guess i was hoping for a more serious show.
Anyway, here are some of my "omg really?" moments:

Anyway, here are some of my "omg really?" moments:

    1. - As soon as the imposter woman has left the lead guy, another hot girl from his workplace ( made very obvious to look nerdy ) just throws herself at him. So convenient. And such a cliche.

    2. - Get this, the two guys who got stolen from now become con artists themselves. Why? To finance finding the woman. Why? To have sex with her for one guy, talking to her for the other. One's mother offers to give him $5000 which he declines because it's unfair. Wait, what?

    3. - Some random Private Investigator has access to an amazing nationwide facial recognition program. You'd expect him to be a smart, educated and discrete man right? Nope. He acts like a dumbass and to top it off he tries ( and partially succeeds) to hustle more money from the guys.

    4. - The imposter girl gets a new "job" working as a secretary at a bank. All her clothes are short and generous with cleavage. Certainly not how someone working for a director of a bank would look. Of course, nobody in the show says anything about it. Other woman at the bank are all kind to the hot, new, half naked girl on the floor. Yeah like that would happen.

Lavi is hampered by writing that leaves Maddie intentionally a bit of a cipher and doesn't make her post-Ava character sufficiently flamboyant, but if the entire show hinges on viewers believing that Maddie is a compelling enough spider to lure people into her web, Lavi makes the premise convincing.

Imposters’ fun premise may pull you in, but Lavi will make you want to stick around for the long haul.

It’s a shaggy, ridiculous, tonally inconsistent show, and in the first two episodes, its pacing leaves something to be desired. But it owns its own nuttiness, which allows the audience to adjust its expectations accordingly--and makes for a fun, unexpected journey.
