Glad they went with this story for the first series, there are so many amazing twists and betrayals on the way, just you wait. (next up for Westeros I hope they go with the story of The Hedge Knight)
Like Game of Thrones before it, everything is top notch like the acting, cinematography and music. It's only episode 2 and I can feel the tension building and can't wait to see how it all unfolds.

So, this is not a full review and probably won't be for quite some time, but I liked, what I was able to see. Well made, very much GoT like, entertaining, great effects, great score, story is so far engaging. On the downside, it is lacking in likeable characters, Rhaenyra is... cute, but very one-dimensional. I hope, the story, does not center too much on her. Daemon is at least compelling, I hope he is not in for the traditional big bad of the season treatment. Expand

Remember how liberals were so mad that Daenerys did not get to Mary Sue her way into the sunset? Well, House of Dragons provides you with a substitute Daenerys look-a-like who does exactly that! Feminism wish fulfillment is abound here. Also remember how liberals constantly complained about the horrifying whiteness of GOT? There was never ending wailing over the congregation of white people into one place during the GOT era. It was literally Hitler and the Ku Klux Klan. Every time they opened their mouth they whined about "muh black actors were are they?" Well, here again "House of Dragons" serves merely as a correction to GOT. Feminism and Blacks, that's it. As far as the screen writing, it bears the worst of the late GOT seasons' fan service. Lame snark that falls flat. Dumb dunking on each other. GOT season 7 and 8 especially were awful for that, but House of Dragons continues this trend. It's cheap and easy to do. Why not? Screen writing is not the point. We now have major television shows doing nothing but serving as props for black and feminist representation - that IS the show. Expand
