Summary: The Athletics’ Bob Cerv wastes no time, belting his very first pitch out of the park, and at the end of 5, led Robinson 3 to 1. Robinson surged ahead, in the bottom of the 6th, with 4, including a $500 bonus winning 3-in-a-row, but Cerv scores 4, over the next 3 innings, to Robinson’s 2, and comes out on top, 8 to 7.
