Despite the more cartoonish elements, there are real consequences for actions in Haters, and rightly so. Still, while the discord is earned, the tonal shifts don’t always jibe. YouTube is a fascinating medium because of how intimate it can be; the viewer is brought right into the star’s bedroom to share in flights of fancy or upfront confessional. “Haters Back Off!” offers traces of that fascinating landscape, including moments where Miranda’s kooky, sullen frustration is completely understandable. But the show is too caught up in the foreground of attempting to be brutally funny with material that was fresh 12 years ago. Read full review

The episodes sometimes veer into contempt for the characters. There’s a deeper pathos to Miranda’s situation, but the season doesn’t delve deeply into that until late, by which time haters will have long since backed off. Read full review

None of the characters deepen as the show goes on. They're shallow vessels freighted down by contrived plot complications that include everything from unrequited love to kidney disease. We have a proverb saying that each monkey which is uglier, its playfulness is more. No offense, but after strangers with candy I haven't seen someone pretending to be ugly and playful like Amanda in this show!

If you love sketches and lots and lots of sarcasm, please watch Haters Back Off. It's awesome, trust me. The show is just perfect, but that's my opinion.

I've been eagerly awaiting Haters Back Off since its announcement, however, I did have some reservations in regards to Miranda's move from Youtube to the new platform. It's literally a show, you have to be patience to understand the performance and the sense cause is kind of little silly jokes that creates one unique big complex exotic joke.

Haters Back Off was good harmless fun. It was spunky and had a fun little story. Was it great? No but it had it's redeeming qualities. Miranda showed a side that we never saw, it was deeper and bigger, little videos with no real story turned to big story based connecting episodes that was anHaters Back Off was good harmless fun. The aim of the show is to make fun of sensitivity and emotional intelligence and the only way you could enjoy the show is if you jumped on the bandwagon and became a hater yourself. Lazy humour, making fun of other people is so easy why not make me laugh with something more original?
