This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Again, have to give the show credit, they're really rolling out the majors very slowing but it works as the characters being introduced episode to episode are given their own due. The action is again limited and the titular hero again isn't involved in a fight scene but it makes sense in where the story is at. Cortana is finally introduced but the way she is given light is really dark and leaves a sense of significance. She comes with a bang and you realize how important a character she will be moving forward. The Master Chief's exploration that follows is done really well.… Expand

Seems like this is the episode in which Halo has finally gained its stride. I was a bit skeptical after watching the pilot. Didn't know what to make of it.
