Summary: The next afternoon, J.D. meets the remaining teens near their huts, and gives the green team a note left by Wayne and Maryelle. The note tells the purple team to send Tyler home and to stay true to the alliance. It also reveals that the grey team wishes to give the purple team their pyramid piece. The note tells the purple team to send Tyler home and to stay true to the alliance. It also reveals that the grey team wishes to give the purple team their pyramid piece. When J.D asks the teams if anyone had an alliance with the grey team, Annie reveals her team, purple, DID indeed have an "agreement" to work together. Now, with the grey team's pyramid piece, Annie and Jeff have taken the lead in the game.
When the teams return to the huts, Annie tells Michelle the only reason she was sent to temple was because many people want to see Tyler go. In the other hut, Tyler complains to Phil and Scooter about how annoying he finds Michelle.

As the purple team walks to the pyramid piece poles, away from the other kids, Annie tells Jeff she was closest to Maryelle and wishes orange went, while Jeff admits he is worried that other people will see their team as a threat.
Later that afternoon, the teens meet on the beach for their first Endurance Mission. In the challenge, "Fireball", one member of each team stands on the beach and uses a sling shot to throw a small ball to their teammate, standing on a platform in the water. When a team catches a ball, they can eliminate any team they want from the competition. The last team standing will win the Luck pyramid piece and will receive the privilege of giving any team they want the samadhi, a piece that will handicap another team in the next mission.
In the first round, the blue team and green team are able to catch balls from their partners on the beach. The blue team eliminates the brown team from the challenge, while the green team decides to eliminate the orange team. Christa and Scooter continue to be threats in the game, as the blue team catches the only ball in the second round, eliminating yellow from the challenge. In round 3, Annie catches a ball shot from Jeff, and eliminates blue from the challenge. With only green, red, and purple left in the game, things are heating up. Green catches the next ball, and eliminates the red team.
In the face-off between purple and green, it seems that Keetin and Annie are having problems catching the balls, until Annie grabs a shot ball out of the air, winning the mission for the purple team.
Once again, the purple team meets to strategize. Annie tells Jeff that Calley has said she will go after anyone that tries to attack the brown team. Concerned, Jeff meets with Calley's partner, Shep, who says he will talk to Calley about being so vocal about strategy. It seems that for now, the purple teams is considering giving the samadhi to Jenna and Max.
At the cove, J.D. questions the teens in front of each other about strategizing and the game overall. Annie and Jeff reveal they feel others may see them as threats, while Michelle tells J.D. Tyler won't listen to her. When asked why the orange team doesn't get along, Tyler says they don't relate and have too different opinions to get along. It is now time to see who the purple team has given the samadhi to, and in a surprise move, the orange team receives the samadhi.
Inside the samadhi is a rock, which represents a handicap they will receive in the next day's Temple Mission.

Ready for the next days challenge, Michelle reveals to the cameras she is ready to fight to stay in the game, and isn't going to let Tyler break down the orange team.… Expand
