Summary: Ellen decides to add a nook to her new home. But she has to get a permit from city hall. Joe asks his "lady friend" to help out. Ellen, so grateful, takes Madeline and Joe out to dinner, where she finds out that they are lovers. Joe invites the whole gang to his house for dinner, where Ellen tells Joe that he is a "kept man." Joe breaks upEllen decides to add a nook to her new home. But she has to get a permit from city hall. Joe asks his "lady friend" to help out. Ellen, so grateful, takes Madeline and Joe out to dinner, where she finds out that they are lovers. Joe invites the whole gang to his house for dinner, where Ellen tells Joe that he is a "kept man." Joe breaks up with Madeline, but then Ellen’s permit is revoked. So, Ellen becomes chummy with Madeline and gets the permit back. Recognizing she has become a "kept woman," she confronts Madeline on the matter. Again, her license is revoked and she is left with a big whole in her wall.… Expand
