Summary: It's Mrs. Beakley's birthday and whilst Scrooge is shopping for a birthday present, Ma Beagle overhears Scrooge telling her a Flowers Saleswomen that if he got married, then his wife would be intitled to half his fortune. This leads to Ma Beagle pretending she is married to Uncle Scrooge in an attempt to get half of his fortune.
