Characters don’t mesh well and plot drags and drags. Cyborg (annoying character) looks to be wearing cheap cosplay. CGI really noticeable and annoyingly poor quality.

An excellent cast is wasted on nonsensical scripts that meander all over the place before finally getting to a conclusion so uninteresting you may think you missed the finale. You didn't. That sound you're hearing is just silence. That sound you're hearing is just silence. If you're looking for a show that has flashbacks and flashforwards, and flash sideways, and then an episode with a groundhog day feel for some reason, and then more diversions into nothing, this is the show for you. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Very poor writing. Even worse acting. Terrible story lines. The entire show seems like it was written by a 7th grader with tourettes syndrome. Literally every other word is the F bomb. It feels sorry, forced, and cliché. I'd rather go to a bad, blind, dentist than watch this garbage. Expand

Most episodes when you think there will be a super powered battle, the patrol spends most of their time simply staring at the threat. they stumble from one adventure to the next without much cohesion or super powered action. The other flaw (and this is somewhat personal taste) is that too much stuff is unexplained! very weird things simply happen without explanation. SPOILER: eg. the patrol is eaten by giant roach and so kill roach by cutting thru stomach from inside out but now are somehow miniature size when they emerge! I understand the show's theme is outcasts from society trying to find their place and in this sense it is moving but if that is all you want then they could have simply done a show about unpowered handicapped human beings and how they deal with society. All the characters are pretty boring and all their adventures are outlandishly stupid. One character has a cool power but she seldom uses it because she has something like 64 personalities. It’s difficult to imagine someone cool like green lantern or Batman ever showing up in this show. I only got 4 episodes in so maybe they eventually do, still I doubt they could save this pile. Expand

The first season resembles a soap opera aimed at younger boys. Lot's of cursing about feelings and trauma, but in a shallow way that doesn't resonate or ignite the characters. Lot's of cursing about feelings and trauma, but in a shallow way that doesn't resonate or ignite the characters. And since there is almost no super hero action, the character development and story arcs drive the show. So, if they work for you...but for me, I got tired real fast. Nothing innovative or new, and enormous amounts of repetitive filler disguised as slowly unravelling drama. Wasted cast. How is this show 3 seasons? Expand
