A futurized retelling of A Christmas Carol is just the best idea for a Doctor Who Christmas special, and the execution is just as perfect as possible, with incredible performances, beautiful bittersweet moments, subtle foreshadowing for the upcoming season, and a darker Eleventh Doctor.
