    I think that this season of Doctor Who just feels forgettable on an overall level. There are a few highlights (Silence of the Library/Forest of the Dead) but a lot of this season feels very tropey and predictable. My favourite aspect of this season is definitely Catherine Tate as Donna Noble. For an actress previously mainly associated with comedies she knocks her role in this out of theI think that this season of Doctor Who just feels forgettable on an overall level. I feel that the season took a downturn in the specials and this is partly explained by the lack of Donna.

    Overall, I feel like this reminds me of Davies' first season, and not in a good way. It doesn't feel nearly as inspired as the previous two seasons and I'm glad that this is now the end of the Davies' era as, if this season is an indicator of of the show's direction, it was started to becoming a bit lacklustre.    … Expand
