Nov 3, 2018The series is simply made from sjw. Here you will constantly poke in the face of various races homosexuality and other tolerant ideas.
But the plot was forgotten. There is no story here. Only propaganda. -

Oct 30, 2018Well its official...the social justice warriors have now taken over Doctor Who. Did it to the new Star Trek. Did it to Star Wars. Predict lowest viewer numbers ever. Oh and the Brits coming across the pond and rubbing Rosa Parks in our faces? Pfft.

Oct 25, 2018I have watched 3 episodes of series 11 and I will continue watching at this stage. The stories seem to be written for children, or maybe a US audience. Dealing with historical figures is tricky. The episode a few series ago with Vincent van Gogh is one of my favourites, but episode 3 about Rosa Parks is more like educational fiction written for elementary students. Very disappointing.

Oct 24, 2018After 3rd episode I made a decision -- it's worst Doctor ever. Political agenda is not very believable and actors doesn't seems to be believable.

Oct 22, 2018Based on three episodes so far, ... Jodie Whittaker is great. I'd love to see her working for the old writing team. So far, ... the show has been rather disappointing. Continuing to watch in hope of an improvement.

Oct 21, 2018This is not the direction i wanted the Who show to go.
And to make it worse its badly written, the writing of such a long running show naturally have ups and downs but season 11 is a huge drop. -

Oct 17, 2018Poor writing and character development on the doctors companions. The show has a different look and feel this season. Its not Dr. Who.
-
Oct 15, 2018So far this has been AWFUL. I could hardly watch episode 2, I found my phone more interesting. The worst part is the music, it just gives it no positive vibe at all. it feels horrible. the writing and direction are really bad too. This is not doctor who.
-
Oct 15, 2018Very simple -- nice look and feel, very weak story content, weak companions, and too much yak. I have watched both episodes multiple times and like them less every time unlike all of the other reboot episodes. This is not good.

Oct 9, 2018I'm not a series veteran, but I tuned into the first ep of this season because I LOVE the lead actress from Broadchurch. The episode just seemed a little scattered. But I suppose that's the tone of the show. Might tune in for another episode- we'll see!

Oct 8, 2018Jodie Whitaker is wonderfully funny and emotive. Yorkshire accents, like bow ties, are cool. The alien creature reminded me of a terminator / predator. It was fun to watch make her own Sonic Screwdriver. The companions provide a good dramatic compliment.
-
Oct 8, 2018I really love Jodi Whitaker as The Doctor, am feeling the Tennant/Smith vibes, has a lot of potential. The companion are just fine, hope they develop more solid in the next episodes. its a shame the writing and the history itself was really mediocre, hope this isn't a Moffat style again.
-
Oct 8, 2018classic misogyny pulling the user reviews into the red and low-yellow zone. the premiere is thoroughly enjoyable and Whittaker is fantastic.

All in all, “The Woman Who Fell To Earth” succeeds as a statement of intent for this brand new era of Doctor Who, telling us that it’s going to be easily accessible, gorgeous to look at and listen to, all about the character drama and brought to life with a lead actress who has a lot of energy. In terms of comparing it to past Who, it’s not a flawless season opener, but it does a terrific job of making us excited for the rest of Doctor No. 13’s tenure.
-
Goofy and curious, commanding and contemplative, Thirteen is already well on her way to demonstrating the complex emotional makeup that is the Doctor. She also demonstrates a cheerful, can-do spirit. ... With the exception of Tim Shaw’s unappealing self, very little about the episode feels Whovian. Gone is former showrunner Steven Moffat’s sense of play, both in the verbal sparring and convoluted storytelling.
-
The premiere episode here, “The Woman Who Fell to Earth,” reminded me, more than anything, of “The X-Files,” when it was really good. It takes you back to the days when Doctor Who was a fun sci-fi procedural. ... [The alien] resembles some gleaming villain out of a Marvel movie, which makes his blokey name, Tim Shaw, even more incongruously funny. This is Doctor Who at its best--nerdy and chilling and quick with a joke. And, most significantly of all, generous of spirit, a quality that simply shimmers off Whittaker.
