The religious overlap--both Christian and Jewish extremists appear to be involved; the word is still out on the Muslims--lends Dig a certain resonance and depth, just as the location work in Jerusalem gives it authenticity. But in the end, it's about a man who needs to save the world to save himself. Or maybe it's the other way around. Either way, Dig promises to be a whole lot of crazy fun to watch.

Dig is paperback pulp: pretentious junk. Gripping, polished, pretentious junk. [6 Mar 2015, p.76]

The channel now has its own competently made, complexly plotted short-season thriller, like just about every other major cable network and streaming-video service.

The mind reels from all the action. Most of the time it is an entertaining sensation.

So far, I like it, but I am into shows that are a bit weird, mystical, and have confusing strands that eventually come together. The cast is great! I am a huge fan of Jason Isaacs (R.I.P. AWAKE -gone too soon). Anne Heche is underused, but hoping she becomes more central. This show is like a hybrid of Touch, Believe, Awake, Orphan Black & Indiana Jones. I am eager to find out how it all unfolds. I am giving it a 9 with room to hopefully grow. Full Review »

Is there some bias against religious shows? I really don't understand all the negative reviews. To me this is exactly what I want. Great storyIs there some bias against religious shows? If you like mystery, conspiracy thrillers or shows like Bridge, American Odyssey .... Dig will pull you right in. Full Review »
