It's diverting enough while it goes by, even if you can see where the story's going long before it gets there.

For fans of westerns, the production offers a reasonably gritty view of the period, and a few unforeseen twists. But it does little to whet one’s appetite for a series pickup.

Deliverance Creek is what the TV biz calls a “backdoor pilot,” meaning that its real goal is for the story to continue as a weekly series. If it does, let’s hope it gets less murky.

I hope it becomes a series or at least more movies. I watched because of the actors in it, Wes Ramsey, and Ulrich. But I also love period pieces. The violence didn't bother me as that was the way it was back then. No need to sugar coat it. Even though bank robbery is wrong, I was so happy to see the bank owner get her comeuppance. She was a hateful woman. Really looking forward to more of this adventure. Full Review »

This show was awesome, it drew the viewer into the story-line well, and I would continue to watch the show....hoping that it becomes a series. I respectfully disagree with the post that said this was a boring movie, and didn't feel that it was confusing (maybe if you weren't paying attention, it could be). Full Review »
