Well here we go again with the PC liberal BS that wants to make you vomit. Can’t do a show with normal super heroes, no of course they have to push down the political left-wing agenda. The first few episodes are really fun to watch but towards the end it is just cringey, I couldnt watch the season finale thats how bad the last episodes, they are so predictable, save yourself some time and watch the flash if you are interested in superhero tv

Honestly, this bears a lot of similarity to a higher quality power ranger spoof, you have the cheesy storyline, bland humour, over the top action, wooden acting, awful visual effects and clunky dialogue

DC Legends, queue the most lazy scenery, the campiest special effects, and the most absurd dialogue. Where anybody watching this show can watch it on fast forward and they won't have missed a thing at all. I fail to see how this entertains 10 year olds, much less anybody else?

It is like in every single screenshot all the legends are standing about looking bored, jerking themselves off.

It is like in every single screenshot all the legends are standing about looking bored, jerking themselves off. These legends are all autobots who can't think for themselves or even delegate, and they all have to clutter up every background as it tries to cram them into each other in every single sceen. So they literally just stand about, jerking each other off. The effects are phew phew phew CGI quasars reminiscent of early Star Trek, but so much worse in this story. But they have gone and cast like the frumpiest cheerleader on the planet, acting out as an assassin, those tight leathers are gonna bust out of there other end. Put her in specs and lab coat dissecting rats and maybe that role might have been filled. It is shocking that somehow it translated into Azumi or a cheerleader, a mule might have been a much fairer comparison. And Savage wearing a knife on his belt, it must be because it is pointy, but no it just ain't a gun. Nevermind the chuckle brothers who have been take acting lessons from Vinne Jones. Face palm

But the story what story? Flame on and when imprisoned in the vault, don't stand nearby. D'oh. How about hurray, a legend is dead. At this rate there won't be any left. No don't be human and bury him when the hawk person died. They will just do an Arrow, because in this genre nobody is ever dead, but why didn't they take the body than. And the first episode the displacement ray hits a legend and it doesn't evaporate him, but in the sceen before, two normal people de-atomized. Wait I get it he is a legend, but he wasn't wearing nothing else superhero.

This show stinks, no it really really stinks

More vapid trash... watched a few episodes to give it a chance, will not watch anymore. The show is profoundly emotionally and intellectually stunted... which means it will probably do great and last many seasons as the multitudes that want to be numbed tune in.

Super cheesy dialogue. Maybe this will get better moving forward but the lack of one hero to root for is potentially problematic. Time travel is a tricky story line to pull off successfully. Dr Who does it mostly successfully. I'll give this one of 2 more episodes to see if it improves.

It's a wonder how any producer could invest money in this ... thing.
The characters are awful, the design is pitiful, the story is ridiculous, the effects are barely passable.

Awful is the only word coming to mind about this shameful production.

Truly horrible. The actors seem like they don't really want to be there - wooden line delivery. Who can blame them when the dialogue is so bad? The storyline is even worse, especially if Vandal Savage remains the "big bad" for the whole first season. I give it one point for being brave and going full-bore comics style, but the fact is, it just doesn't work on the small screen. It comesTruly horrible. By far the worst DC TV Series. Terrible story -- if you're going to assemble a "Legends Team", then at least pick an A team not these losers. Is it so hard to to get rid of Savage? Knock him out, put him on your spaceship and drop him off on the sun. Let him be immortally stuck on the sun forever. And you have a time machine... Go back to when Savage was a baby and erase him.

Of course if they did do anything smart there wouldn't be a series. I could live with that if the characters were decent. Rip is so desperate that he recruits criminals like Captain Cold and Heat Wave -- take away their guns and... yeah.

Simple the worst comic book based TV series ever.

Tkwz tries to put his opinion to words. But he is frozen. His head pops down and he shakes it in a total displeasement. He cannot fathom, how can a show be this bad. He finally concludes, this is what he will write: "Laser Pistol". Then he takes a drink and tries to forget.

Just like the flash, this show is totally overrated. Shallow, foreseeable, bad animation, bad choreography, subpar acting, overly dramatic. Everything the stabbed American seems to live though.
If you really want superhero TV shows: dare devil.

Another nice try new superheroes to bring in a series on the screen.
The pilot episode this is disappointing. All eight heroes are boring and have the charm of B-movie actors.
The only there is a bad guy and you dealt with him a whole season even sounds better.
Overall, a weak start playing on the same poor level as "Flash".

I was pretty sure about it, and now i have my proof.
This idea just dont work for a TV Series.
There are so many problems with this series, the action is quite ok, but there is not much "depth" in it.
I lacks so much to be nearly as good as other Superhero Series...
0/10, logically i would say 3/10, but well its metacritic so 10 or 0.

Every episode is more painful than the last. The characters constantly make the dumbest decisions they possibly can, the supposed integrity of the timeline is constantly disregarded, and no one learns anything ever. Ray Palmer makes me want to punch him in the face until his head looks like a cracked watermelon. So frustrating to watch.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The series apparently is well budgeted based on the special effects and casting. But what are the producers thinking putting in actors too well known for their roles in another series. For me suspension of disbelief was difficult to achieve. I kept thinking about Prison Break ( a series I loved ) while watching Purcell and Wentworth's characters. The arc plot seems a tad bit cheesy. More substance please. Expand

The show was exciting and had a good premise in the science fiction realm. Needless to say, the writers insist on seeing how far they can push their liberal left agenda with open sex and adultery, gratuitous homosexuality, casting the creator into the role of an evil presence, and uncaring sarcastic commentary. All the behaviors that make life worth living! Well, we are living in the end days of Judgment so I guess this all seems 'normal'. Expand

In actual practice, Hunter’s invitation necessitates a great deal of discussion and debate. ... But once said conversations have been had, after the i’s are dotted and t’s crossed, the times ahead promise to be spread across the ages and a whole lotta fun.

Cheesy dialogue, poorly choreographed fight scenes and weak characters can’t be hidden by this series’ impressive CGI budget.

My basic reaction is--meh.... The show suffers from the illogic of time travel. (Why not go back to when Vandal Savage was born and either kill him or set him on the right path?) And it suffers from too many characters and not enough plot to go around.
