Summary: The last pieces of timber are cleared from the Rovers. The CID are called in to look for Tracy. They search No. 3 thinking that Deirdre might have killed Tracy herself. Mike has two broken ribs, slight concussion and a fractured ankle. Len has a head cut and wrenched shoulder. Betty is treated for cuts. The lorry is moved. Rita feels Len should contact Ray about Tracy and Deirdre but he doesn't agree. Deirdre walks the streets, crying, before standing on a canal bridge, contemplating suicide.
