Summary: At the hospital, the surgeon tells Sally that her lumpectomy will take place next Friday. Dev hands the twins back to Sunita in a boisterous mood after a day at the zoo. He assures Sunita that he will continue to be a proper father to them, and reveals that he has split with Bernie. Matt's not too happy at this news. Steve calls to see Ashley with a crate of booze and proceeds to get roaring drunk while pouring out his troubles. Rick spots Tina and follows her into the pub. He eavesdrops on her conversation and expresses interest in buying No. 12. Tina takes him to view the flat. Kevin cooks a meal for Sally. They discuss their concerns about next Friday but agree not to worry until necessary. Joe learns that Tina is alone with Rick in the flat. He races round to check on her but finds Tina blissfully unaware. Liz summons Becky home from the cinema to sort out Amy. Steve arrives home late in a drunken stupor. Furious Becky tells him to find somewhere else to sleep. Joe drowns his sorrows. Rick collars him outside No. 8 and demands ??4k by Friday or he will go after Tina instead. Joe's terrified.… Expand
