    Early review of Constantine, so take it with a grain of salt. So far, Constantine has been a clone of Supernatural, but without the charm and story coherence. Two episodes in and we barely know Constantine or the actual rules of the world he is in, nor how it even holds together. Where in a show like Supernatural there is at least a little explanation for each spirit or legend, ConstantineEarly review of Constantine, so take it with a grain of salt. So far, Constantine has been a clone of Supernatural, but without the charm and story coherence. Two episodes in and we barely know Constantine or the actual rules of the world he is in, nor how it even holds together. Where in a show like Supernatural there is at least a little explanation for each spirit or legend, Constantine simply expects the audience to shut up and not ask questions. The plots of the first two episodes have been paper thin, and dull as all get out, primarily because Constantine himself is extraordinarily one note, and the show is abjectly devoid of humor in any form. Perhaps in the era Constantine debuted in comics he was an original idea, but now he struggles to define himself from countless other trenchcoat wearing, world weary anti-heroes. The show desperately needs to find an identity and do some explaining of it's world before it's going to get anywhere.… Expand

    Have you got a daemon in your pocket, happy to see me, get excorsized. This show a joke.

    Nothing but more daemons are coming, at least another arrogant daemon each week. He doesn't go to hell at all through the water, never seen him use. The back story is mostly drivel his goal of redemption was to correct his mistake, not because he is forced to not have another choice. Where are    Have you got a daemon in your pocket, happy to see me, get excorsized. This show a joke.

    The Actor actually thinks this has better views than Hannibal??? "The producers are confidant. Constantine higher ratings than Hannibal and CLIMBING. Hannibal got 2nd season. So keep watching!" It is a absolute insult to compare this utter filth to the Masterpiece that Brian Fuller created with Hannibal. Hannibal has the makings of the best cinematic television in history; and this joke ofThe Actor actually thinks this has better views than Hannibal??? "The producers are confidant.     This one is just plane clones of a series, that wasn't good enough to do as equal so they just made it in to a TV series... Where bad movies go when they don't make it as movies series...
    I've seen all the movies, you never seen yet... My source send me programs from around the world...

    The writing is SOOO bad. It's like the writers have never had actual interactions with real human beings.

    The actors aren't much better.

    Rent the movie and watch it once a week, it's FAR better.

    Ruined a perfectly good vehicle. This could have been a worthwhile series yet they destroyed the foundation right off the bat in the first episode. Couple that with the worst actor (lead character) on TV today and nothing at all can save this show from cancellation.

    Not impressed at all and the second episode was not good. Just disappointed because I was really looking forward to the show. This could have been a worthwhile series yet they destroyed the foundation right off the bat in the first episode. NOTHING can save this show from cancellation.

    This show is over-acted, obnoxious and truly comic book, but not in a good way. The writing makes me wonder if the writers have made it through middle school and the acting is worse than any high school drama club production I've been to. This Supernatural wannabe has been demonized and should burn in hell.

    It's just one of the shows that you expect some drama but you got another sunday dinner tv show.

    Even i like guy acting constantine then whole surrounding it's just bad. I remember reading hellblazer and this tv show it's othing close to it. No smoking constantine hurts a bit because i was expecting to see somthing of a kind "Harry Angel". Plot and surrounding as well as other actors    It's just one of the shows that you expect some drama but you got another sunday dinner tv show.

    Plot and surrounding as well as other actors on a show makes me feel like someone is applying **** mentalist formula again. Actors picked up from newspapers and tapeworm plot.

    What i would like to see is actors that do act, plot made for several episodes and smoking constantine.

    ah forgot to add since they make 1ep 1story things it kind a makes you think they don't feel secure about their show...

    Wooden acting, horrendous lead. Completely trash and ripping off many elements of other tv shows. Absolute rubbish. Do not watch this. I would rather be sent to jail for life than watch Constantine.

    Constantine seems like a good fit tonally for Friday night companion series “Grimm,” but Constantine will need to more clearly establish its world--and the rules of its world--and better define its characters if it hopes to become a fanboy favorite.

    There's the structure for a sturdy but unremarkable supernatural procedural (and companion piece to "Grimm"), but in the pilot, at least, producers David Goyer and Daniel Cerone aren't aiming for much more.
