Summary: Annabeth tries to build a case against a convicted criminal whom she put in jail years earlier after he is arrested for robbing a jewelry store.

During the investigation, Annabeth discovers inconsistencies in the kidnapped woman's story and uncovers a secret causing her to question who is really to blame for the prison-break and robbery.
