    The Pilot is so much fun. So mature. The characters are very mingled and everyone has a different stereotype: tha bloonde one, tha black one, the gay one, the athlete, the catholic, all this makes the 20 minutes run and you yearn for more. Ashley Tisdale is stunning, amazing. She knows how to do and she does. The all cast is great. Positive point for Diana and George. Mike is handsome andThe Pilot is so much fun. So mature.     I really loved this series, reminds me a bit of "Friends." I thought they really got it right when choosing a hair salon as scenery. Super recommend !!! Watch you will not regret it.

    I love the pilot. , The cast is very mingled and I think it has potential. The entire cast is in tune and love of Danni and AJ will still yield good scenes, I'm sure of it. I need the next episodes.

    I'm surprised at the negative reviews from the 'pros' - but maybe not.

    It's a gentle, warm and funny show - no belly laughs, nothing to write home about, but comfortable and welcoming. Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I don't want comedy to challenge, I want to be amused. I don't take comedy lightly, either, being very picky about what I watch - currently that would be Modern Family    I'm surprised at the negative reviews from the 'pros' - but maybe not.

    After ABC Family pulled Bunheads (for whatever ludicrous planning reason - maybe their tutu's were too tight that week in the planning epartment?) pretty much all I had left of US comedy was cartoon-based (American Dad, Family Guy, Futurama) and Modern Family.

    Until Clipped.

    Maybe it's George Wendt, maybe it's Boston, or maybe it's both, but there will no doubt be those that will compare Clipped to Cheers, and I think that's a shame - this show needs to stand on its own feet to find its niche.

    As it stands, we have the villain, the likeable dumbo, the disillusioned jock, the hot girl, the sassy wisecracker and the gay oracle - I think they have gotten the casting very right.

    The premise, too, of a bunch of old school-mates that all end up doing a job they never envisioned but making the best out of it is good and offers plenty of scope for chuckles going forward.

    And the clown car that is the Doyle Sisters are available for when you need to punctuate with nyuks - although Rita Doyle (Betsy Sodaro) is a standout and deserves to be considered part of the main cast.

    It's early days and I hope the show grows and gets renewed. There are few genuinely nice comedies being made in the US, these days    … Expand

    The plots aren't strong.... Yet there are bright spots, mostly in the form of ol' George Wendt, as the shop's (gay) owner, and Lauren Lapkus, who bring some quirk to this stale comedy. [26 Jun 2015, p.55]

    While neither dialogue nor sitcom tropes could be called fresh, the pilot plays solid, relying on able actors to score under tight direction (James Widdoes).
