Summary: Charles becomes involved with a new girlfriend, Jocelyn, and his outlook on life starts changing. Buddy and Adam are the first to notice the difference when Charles counsels Adam on his response to a neighborhood bully. Typically, Charles would advise a get-tough approach, but this time he tells Adam to extend his hand in friendship.
