Summary: Two Barges on the Thames River

Totty & Rod live on the barge named Michael. They have lived there for five years. The barge is over 100 years old and 24 meters long. Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen will be making over their open kitchen and living room. Brit & Paul are on the Dutch barge named The Black Pig. They are both legal eagles andTwo Barges on the Thames River

Totty & Rod live on the barge named Michael. They have lived there for five years. The barge is over 100 years old and 24 meters long. Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen will be making over their open kitchen and living room.

Brit & Paul are on the Dutch barge named The Black Pig. They are both legal eagles and have lived on the barge for three years with their daughter. At 50 meters long, the barge is one of the largest in Britain. Graham Wynne will be doing the dining room of this 113-year old barge. They would like to see the room more modern because the rest of the place is quite old.

Laurence's colors are white, slate, and a very bright terra cotta. They take out the railing that divides the rooms. Laurence has some dark wood laminate floor that his team does not like, but they let Laurence do it anyway. Laurence is making light lamp shades with string to mimic the river. Brit makes art with "Atlantic Leather" from Iceland which is Fish Skins. Andy builds bookshelves out of old wood scaffolding.

Oliver Heath's colors are three shades of light blue and white for the ceiling. Andy will create banquette seating and a new ceiling out of wood planks overlapped. Oliver goes out along the Thames' shore for bits and pieces that have come from the river itself to put on his Thames wall. He puts mirrored tiles around a column to get the reflective light further in the room. They lay the floor last thing. Oliver spends £740.90.… Expand
