In the Cotswalds

Trudy & husband Bill live in a converted 17th century bakery with a double height living room.

Mike & wife Karen are in a new family house built out of old cotswald stone. They would like a change in their bedroom.

Anna Ryder Richardson is in the bedroom with a bright yellow and a bright orange paint. Andy will make a new bed with a huge headboard. It's Trudy and Bill's 13th wedding anniversary on the first day, so Carol brings in champagne at the end of the day. To separate the dressing area from the bedroom, Anna has Andy build some very interesting arches. Trudy took some photos of Mike and Karen's children sneakily, and Anna blew them up in black and white, but only in sections. They cut off part of the bed to put up the huge padded headboard.

Oliver Heath starts in the living room by taking all the furniture out via the windows because it will not fit out any doors. They keep the wood floors and the stone fireplace. The paint Oliver reveals is a bright reddish orange. They have to paint the ceiling with scaffolding. They decorate the ceiling by hanging drapes off the huge beams. They paint fleur-de-lis on the walls everywhere -- large ones & small ones. They place curved mirrors on top of the fireplace all the way up to the ceiling.
