This week, the houses are brand new. The couples have only known each other for less than a year. Lisa and husband Stewart would like their living room to have a natual outdoorsy feel. This week, the houses are brand new. The couples have only known each other for less than a year. Lisa and husband Stewart would like their living room to have a natual outdoorsy feel. Stewart is a secondary school science teacher and Lisa is physiotherapist.

Pete and fiancée Louise will be getting married next year. Louise is also a physiotherapist and Pete is a firefighter. They moved into their 3 bedroom house just over a year ago. The 2 houses are very similar. They would also like their living room changed.
Linda Barker is in Pete and Louise's living room. She is not going to touch the floor. The paint is a soft baby blue and a soft red, and a lilac. She wants to do a geometric pattern on some of the walls. They have a fireplace with a plugged in heater. They are going to take it all out. Art work of geometric patterns with red paint. Andy makes a coffee table with 3 round tiers. Electrician comes in and installs some lights in the geometric patterns on ply.

Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, who's hair is shorter, chooses pale lavender, and a slightly darker shade of lavender for color. Pete's firefighter friends catch him sewing organza cushions. They make a lamp out of soil tubing. He uses texture to make the fireplace more stone-like. They put masking fluid on the wall in small stripes, then paint a glaze on it, just to catch the light. The team have a hard time getting the masking fluid off. They can't get it off completely, so they have to paint it all over again.… Expand
