    The impending wedding hasn't ruined the show; neither has its brief sojourn outside of New York. The cases continue to be well written, the cast still play off of each other brilliantly, and a few new elements are developed. Even the oddly ignored Captain Gates gets an episode of focus. Other highlights include a burning building deathtrap, a murder where too many people confess, and aThe impending wedding hasn't ruined the show; neither has its brief sojourn outside of New York. The cases continue to be well written, the cast still play off of each other brilliantly, and a few new elements are developed. Even the oddly ignored Captain Gates gets an episode of focus. Other highlights include a burning building deathtrap, a murder where too many people confess, and a ninja assassin.
