Very sad to say that my guilty pleasure has brought far more guilt than pleasure this season.
The Gina story arc felt so awkward it felt Chelsea Peretti was removing herself from the show for some very dark reasons. It felt so unlike the benevolent nature of this show that we all loved.
The Rosa Diaz character has become insufferable, while Boyle, Terry and Amy are now as flimsy as never

Captain Holt and Jake are running in circles with very unconvincing and tired tropes.
Scully and Hitchcock have de facto become the soul of the show! What an irony given the incredibly lame woke episodes that have been forced onto the viewers.

What happened?! None of the characters are consistent with who they have been for the last 5 years, they've all been ruined. Show's gone to ****

It’s still the same show and still great. But all that time worrying does provide a fresh opportunity to appreciate what makes the show tick, and why it resonates so strongly six seasons later. In short, producer and showrunner Dan Goor makes every second count.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine is what it has always been: Kind, quick, and very, very funny. The entire ensemble is working at the height of their abilities.

The Brooklyn Nine-Nine that premieres Thursday night on NBC is essentially the Brooklyn Nine-Nine you remember from Fox. That's a very good thing, indeed.
