I hate this "woke" and preachy season. screw whoever wrote this series to death

Nice to see the crew back together, but I felt tonally the season premiere was "off", and not very funny at all. I'll still tune in to see if it finds it's footing again, but disappointed and hoping it doesn't go off the rails.

the most diverse and fun season with a perfect heist episode and character based episodes . b99 is back with a bang!

Am I the only one who didn't enjoy this season? The new characters were boring, the jokes were stale, and the writing seemed lazy. I had a few chuckles at some moments from Captain Holt's awkwardness or Jake's idiocy, but the majority of it seemed lazy and overdone. This was all compiled together in a boring and basic story line. As someone who enjoyed the first 4 seasons of the show, IAm I the only one who didn't enjoy this season? Very sad to say that my guilty pleasure has brought far more guilt than pleasure this season.
The Gina story arc felt so awkward it felt Chelsea Peretti was removing herself from the show for some very dark reasons. It felt so unlike the benevolent nature of this show that we all loved.
The Rosa Diaz character has become insufferable, while Boyle, Terry and Amy are now as flimsy as never

Captain Holt and Jake are running in circles with very unconvincing and tired tropes.
Scully and Hitchcock have de facto become the soul of the show! What an irony given the incredibly lame woke episodes that have been forced onto the viewers.

After coming back from an almost-cancellation and switching its network, it's still as charming as ever.

Brooklyn 99 getting picked up by NBC was the best thing. Great season premiere. "This B needs a C in her A" line was hilarious!

The series' shift from Fox to NBC doesn't seem to have done a thing to its charm or humor. It's as funny as it's ever been, and I'm eager to see what this season has to offer.

Couldn't wait for the new season so I'm going to give it a few episodes before passing judgment. I will say that the pace and quality of the first couple of episodes feels 'off' somehow. Could be my anticipation of the new season made it hard to live up to. Time will tell.

into its fifth season Brooklyn Nine-Nine isn’t quite as snappy as it once was but it remains one of the funniest, and often most heartfelt, shows currently on air.

Cancelled by Fox and then picked up just days later by NBC, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and its fantastic cast continue to bring the laughs in this sixth season.

What happened?! None of the characters are consistent with who they have been for the last 5 years, they've all been ruined. Show's gone to ****

Isn't much different to say about this than previous seasons. B99 remains a very funny show with a strong, distinctive and likable cast.

I do have two small complaints. This season's antagonist is pretty weak. He feels like a poor man's version of Wunch from earlier seasons. There's one episode that's basically a copy of a Wunch episode. It doesn't help that the new villain has this

There's one episode that's basically a copy of a Wunch episode. It doesn't help that the new villain has this gimmick of always sounding happy even when he's threatening. It could work in theory, but the actor isn't able to pull it off.

The finale is yet another cliffhanger that tries too hard to create drama, which we all know is going to last only a handful of episodes.

Overall, I'm still loving this show.

Frankly disappointing. The season felt off in comparison to previous seasons. There were a few good episodes but the season lacked.... humour. It was also way to politically charged for a supposedly easy watching show. Not sure if I’ll ever consider NBC B99 as real B99.

It’s still the same show and still great. But all that time worrying does provide a fresh opportunity to appreciate what makes the show tick, and why it resonates so strongly six seasons later. In short, producer and showrunner Dan Goor makes every second count.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine is what it has always been: Kind, quick, and very, very funny. The entire ensemble is working at the height of their abilities.

The Brooklyn Nine-Nine that premieres Thursday night on NBC is essentially the Brooklyn Nine-Nine you remember from Fox. That's a very good thing, indeed.
