    It’s engaging in a more serialized storytelling mode, the world itself, and time’s continual march forward. But these creators aren’t letting Trump’s patriarchy dictate their decisions. These scary forces don’t control Season 4; Glazer and Jacobson do, and they’ve never been more powerful.

    The Broad City duo does not suddenly discover responsibility and sobriety. What instead happens is that the world inflicts some pain upon them, and the show guffaws at their gonzo squirming.

    The 1st episode of this season (4) is probably the worst one of the entire series. The 2nd episode is just so-so. Honestly, there are almost zero funny parts, outside what you likely saw from their pre-season teaser trailer. And to be honest, if digitally super-imposing Bevers head on a buff body is your top "hilarious" moment of an episode, you're seriously stretching. I loved Seasons 1, 2, and 3. It almost seems like they lost all the magic, or the writers took a vacation. Either way, fingers crossed that episode 3 picks up --cause otherwise, they've jumped the shark.… Full Review »
