Summary: Young Stuart Faulkner's body has been ravaged by tuberculosis and is in a wheelchair. His father is anxious for him to walk again and pressures Tom to do more. Meanwhile, Michael is supportive of the boy, but his efforts result in additional tensions in the Faulkner home as well as at the Gilders.
