Summary: Joe stays back at the Ponderosa as Ben, Hoss, Candy and Hop Sing leave on a cattle drive. A thunderstorm spooks one of the horses which goes wild, and crushes an arm and breaks one of his legs. Joe goes in and out of consciousness as he tries to treat his own injuries.
