This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Season 4 Game-of-Thrones-Season-7's the show. The show has charm because of the main character and storyline and that puts it above the rest. I like this style of show it reminds me of 13 Reasons Why and End of the F'ing World or even Ragnarok. It's like that but more funny and raunchy (a little too raunchy for my taste). I'm really sick of raunchy shows. Anyway it's still an amazing TV show.... until the end of season 3 when they sacrifice one of the most amazing characters for the sake of an uncreative lgbtqa storyline. They take the most amazing character, one of the people who has the biggest heart and loves more people than anyone in the whole show and then takes a dump on this person. There's nothing wrong with lgbtqa storylines. Matter of fact it's disrespectful to that community that the creators force a story line and take out a beautiful person in it name. The best lgbtqa people have always had class. This show does NOT (circa season 4). It's the fact that the character elimination was forced and used to sacrifice one of the most lovable and humble characters TOO QUICKLY. NOW, to make it worse the cast forgets about this character and they haven't pushed anyone else out of the show at this point AT ALL. He's the first. Nowadays characters can be sacrificed instantly a-la Game of Thrones but the one person that they sacrifice is the most likable. The writers do it hyper swiftly to the point that the cast doesn't seem to care anymore about this person and they treat him like he almost never existed, the nicest person and person involved in the second best storyline of the show, right after Sam was saying that he could be his new best friend! Yet they keep the Zahid who is great but comes across a bit mysoginistic. It almost reminds me of how Daenerys changed too quickly, going against some of her own words, and that ruined season 7. Daenerys going insane makes sense overall but it just didn't seem like the timing was right. We wanted to see more fuel to the fire, more reasons, something was arry with the writing. Game of Thrones SE7 will go down in history as one of the worst of all time. Atypical SE4 isn't much different. What can I say? Binge TV was awesome in the beginning. Now it seems like Netflix almost has a formula to make it work. Maybe the masterminds of writing have it all figured out. I'm sure someone somewhere has all kinds of charts and graphs about how writing has evolved and what makes a good bin show and they probably have some algorithm that shows when interesting things need to happen but despite all that.... I guess you could call it predictability of unpredictability... Despite all that the show has charm because of the main character and storyline and that puts it above the rest. I won't give any spoilers but I like this style of shows it reminds me of 13 Reasons Why and End of the F'ing World or even Ragnarok.
