This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This already mediocre show just gets worse. The acting is wooden and the plot and characterization is nonsensical (Characters seem to do complete 180s ie. Captain Lance and Ra's Al Ghul). There are one or two good episodes but the rest of the season is a steaming hot mess of teen drama and soap opera level "twists" (Oliver just happens to bump into Shado's identical twin!! seriously?) . The Hong Kong story-line was a chore to sit through this time around and this portrayal of Ra's Al Ghul and Black Canary is insulting to comic fans. This isn't even Green Arrow!! I stuck with the show because I foolishly believed that Oliver's character would develop but he continues to be the poor man's batman. Felicity and The Atom's story-line is particularly weak. Oh and whatever happened to Wildcat? I would've given this a zero but surprisingly I somewhat enjoyed Thea and Merlyn's story-line and was impressed by Willa Holland and John Barrowman's acting abilities despite the atrocious lines they are forced to recite. Al Sa Him. Just saw it. Not my thing. This Ra's plot leaves me empty. Darth Oliver meh. Liked baby Sara, Diggle, Lyla, Thea, Nyssa. Thea and Felicity conversations. The rest meh. I'm speechless about how little I feel about the home run stretch during Sweeps have left me. This show gets worse for me.

For those who've rated this show for its consistency is laughable.
Throughout the current series producers have proceed to chaotically change the character dynamics of (team arrow) to an unrecognisable level. Introducing a variety of new characters without cementing their roles.

The romance with Felicity and Oliver Queen was poorly executed, and seemingly contrived. I do not get the impression that either, by their acting or story that these two should in fact be together. It seems hastily implemented, and with Oliver's relationship history = Laurel/Sara/Shadow/McKenzie/Sara and now Felicity? Seems like he's less in love and more wanting a date.
As a character the personality of Felicity has changed dramatically she's become less of the mildly humorous idiosyncratic blond IT girl and now is an overly aggressive, confrontational CEO. It is becoming dislikeable how a supporting character should have such a presence of undermining Oliver Queen's character. Big fail!

Diggle as a voice of reason is becoming almost non-existent, not being significant in any way shape or form to the current series, now that Roy Harper, aka Robin has become effectively the arrow's generically unnecessary sidekick.

Laurel taking up the mantle of the Canary?! NO! I have to say it's becoming less like the 'ARROW' and more like a rag tag band of wannabe vigilantes without any qualifications dressing up in ridiculous costumes. (Kick-Ass) but less humorous. She might be taking a few boxing lesson's to substitute for her anger, stress and alcohol issues but it certainly doesn't mean that she should be incorporated into the show as a heroine. Her acting in the previous seasons was tolerable, but her apparent lack of emotion when they thought that Oliver was dead? It is disgraceful, she was dating Oliver at one point, and is her only friend, as we can see, and does not seem to affect her. You might think with all the death of friends and family she has become desensitised to his death. But, for someone who has been a big part of her life, to die and yet show no emotion anger, denial sadness? The same can be said of all other supporting characters. Felicities rendition of a lover lost is far too exaggerated and feels unnatural. But comes to terms with it resoundingly fast.

    Please rethink watching The Arrow!

Do the writers and producers of this show all sit around licking each others, thinking what **** can we come up with next week? Patting each other for making such ****. The demographic for this show is 18-25 year old, obviously minus 7-10 years is what we are watching here on this show, who would rather watch Flash instead.

This series is totally unwatchable, stinking, containing more holes then a bucket. Not even team aerosol can mask that raspberry flavor.

Take the last episode, but this entire season and any other seasons have been drivel from start. Penicillin tea cures death, mending broken bones, filling gaping holes, wince more. Brick the Bane equivalent stops bullets with head, arrows don't cause scratches, only to get kicked in the nuts. He kills everybody else but not would be killers, because of equality. All so *** kicked can join the justice league when using somebody else identity Dinah is now a Lance, please scream more. Daddy daddy please stay and fight the bad men because you taught how to fight and not be scared, okay darling were not scared now. Everyone else can get Merlin'ed too including team aerosol, they don't care about the **** caused. Meanwhile Smoke is blowing on onion rings every episode, when she isn't blowing bubbles, lets also get her mom involved as well.

Any would be action scenes come straight out of a B movie, bullets do not do **** all, because cartwheels are a matrix art in those 5 seconds of action. Because a bow fires quicker, also more directly then any ricochet . But the other 45 minutes of discourse are a soap opera, pantomime into how everyone, apart from the one-shot Crim, can also join team aerosol. If they can get over their amnesia remembering why they aren't dead, any superpowers came straight out of lost. Obviously making them all emotional that they then have to provide less and less content, outside of their family dilemmas, but constantly further away from the sourced material.

Nothing can mask how bad this show stinks. Do us all a favor. Stop making superhero series, when they watch as badly as asskicked 2. .

So Arrow went from ripping off the third Batman movie in the second season to ripping off the first one. I don't mind you using the same villains as in the movies. By far and I mean in a massive landslide, The worst season of the show. They go far too much into the sci-fi aspect of the show and make it almost unwatchable. I mean there were several times this season where I flat out stopped watching for weeks before getting back into it. I absolutely hated it.

Everyone normally says that Season 4 was the worst season, but in my opinion that title goes to Season 3. It really surprises me how the show suddenly tanked down so quickly, considering it was so nicely set up and The Flash was done so well in spite of being made by the same crew. Laura Lance had started to become the most annoying character in the franchise. She simply doesn't understand she isn't strong enough to fight criminals in spite of failing repeatedly. And she trains with Wildcat to become one. She's so cute, and yet she does boxing while wearing black (which Ted had asked whether she will take red or black and she said "obviously" black, like why?) and she doesn't even show her navel or legs. What's the point of a beautiful woman boxing if she doesn't even look hot? And of course Wildcat just dies in a street fight because there was no better way to resolve one of DC's first superhero's fate. Finally we thought this season will pay up because Ra's al Ghul is the big bad guy here, and how it ends? Just one word - terrible. Expand
