Great New series! Love the ideas it proposes. Love the nod to a Tony Stark like persona. Love the Tech. It is like Knight Rider merging with TJ Hooker, from those from the 80's.

I loved the concept of this show. The technology and the plot is awesome, but it is still in the beginning stages and a little awkward. I believe it will be a much better show in the second season.

APB is simply the best cop show to hit the TV since Hawaii 5.0 started 7 years ago. Super good ideas for future law enforcement. Non stop hard hitting.

For the critics and those who think fictional tv drama should mirror real life, may I suggest documentaries, as this is entertainment.
APB is written fairly well, the acting is good, and the characters are like-able . I hope to see multiple seasons of this show.
I am aware that it does not portray police procedural whatever to the tee, or that the plot line is not plausible, but hey

I like this show a lot - just got done watching episode 8 of season 1. I like the technology angle and the cast is pretty cool because many of them are unknowns just trying to get started. Give it a shot - my wife and I have enjoyed it so far.

One of the most realistic type shows on with the technology that would scare, criminals to death. Wish it were real to take care of today's issues with criminals, wouldn't that be awesome, I love this show.

This show is awesome!!!!! We love it, and just because there are idiotic people out there that look at this show and say it isn't real well guess what E.T. Wasn't real either get over it and shut up! Leave the show alone it's great.

I've been watching this show since it launched. Initially its broad brushes felt like a bridge too far, but as its matured, the backstories, in concert with its suggested technologies, have become more evocative. Oh, and just for the record, there aren't any technologies that aren't already available, or on the shelf. The only thing that's a stretch, is Reeves' building new systems and deploying them in an hour or two. But then, what do you expect? He only has an hour work with every week? ;>) Expand

Billionaire, using its money and innovations, creates a service that helps people and a superior government analogue. Do you think this summary of this series? Not only. Is Pure Genius series, which has exactly the same story, only instead of the police station - hospital.

I had to stop watching after the scene where the billionaire guy basically bribed government officials to give him a police district to do as he pleases... in public....in broad day light. What absolute trash. We all know stuff like that don't happen. There's no way any government official will cave to that in PUBLIC. But this show believes we are 5 year old children. LOL. If you start from a very poor idea ( a billionaire bribing a Mayor to take control of a police department) the development of this idea is not going to improve the final product. Bad and promising to get even worst.

The premise of this program is just plain ludicrous even for science fiction fans or people who love to buy expensive toys. APB would have made an excellent video game but just doesn't cut it as a TV show.

Best new series - excellent cast, acting & filming. A realistic Sci-Fi with cool Tech and lots of action. I love the humor Justin Kirk brings to the role. Well turns out it didn't really so far but from ep 2 & 3 its already become a completely generic procedural, just with more technology and no explanation of how a billionaire is directing individual investigations with no experience of police work, and not spending any time running all the businesses that made him a billionaire. Almost Human was a better attempt at the cops with advanced technology idea than APB is. Expand

The plot tends to defy logic, the science is not really sound and the characters are pretty two dimensional. A show that is essentially targeting geeks should at least get its science right. Well, this one doesn't.
There is a cop chase in the first episode, right after they got their fancy new stun guns. But why? The cops just run after the bad guy instead of shooting him with the nice nonlethal stun guns which everybody immediately hates because why excactly?
And the statements could be a little less repetitive. Who points out all the time he is a billionaire? Or that the thingamajig costs 2 Million e.g. "this jacket is more expensive than the entire building" who writes these dialogues?
After 3,5 shows I had to stop. Life is too short for this.
    Sorry for all the bashing.

The only way it would be watchable is if it was some kind of Robocop deal--and that's a 20th century idea. No, this is just another in a very large pile of not-very-good ideas that got turned into a TV show. Go play with one of your apps instead.

In the early going, APB is as generic as its title, failing to give us characters or stories that feel remotely realistic.

APB never settles its own version of its existential dilemma: man or machine? It argues for both. But as this uninspiring drama proves, sometimes when you split the difference, you end up with nothing.
