NBC knocked it out of the park with this one. The premise is a little played out but honestly, The cast saves this show and turns it into something worth watching. Howerton carries that same fire he has playing Dennis on It's Always Sunny and Oswalt plays a quality number two who's short appearances keep his character fresh and his interaction with Howerton's character fun to watch.

I like it. That's all that matters. Ok, it says I need 75 characters here. Got it.

Glenn Howerton basically just plays his character from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia in a different setting without the rest of the Sunny cast.

Quirky and downright weird. At least that’s my first impression. One has to suspend reality to buy the premise that a disgraced professor could get a gig as an Advanced placement Biology teacher when he has no credentials or experience doing so. One also has to stretch credibility to accept the ineptitude of the high school principal as portrayed. Finally, to get AP credit, the studentsQuirky and downright weird. Don’t think all the students would go along with getting absolutely no instruction to prepare for this test. Once one suspends all reality then there’s a bit of fun to be found in this strange setting. Whether that’s enough to sustain this farce for a season, well that remains to be seen. Right now this trip down the rabbit hole is worth a tenuous D- and may easily sink lower.

Recent episodes do not have any tie to reality, so lowering my score. A guilty pleasure - just because it is a farce, but nothing more than that. Past time to flush this one! Hear a report a renewal has been issued. Scraping the bottom of the barrel are we?

Just when I thought that piece of crap sitcom L.A. To Vegas was the stupidest show on the air, this ridiculous train wreck of a show comes along! I struggled to get through the first episode. I'd rather try to pass a hard poo than watch this! To say it's unfunny would be an understatement. A.P. Bio is as entertaining as a ham sandwich. To thumbs way down. If A.P. surprisingly funny. He plays a less sociopathic version of his IASP character. The comedy shines with its discordance between his apathy and the zealousness of his class of young overachievers. The critics got it wrong. definitely worth a watch. much better than many other new/existing shows.

Really really funny. Offbeat and edgier than something I expected to find on network tv. Feels like more of an FX kind of show. First 3 episodes cracked me up.

Has potential, was generally amusing, but the first episode didn't grab me in the way a comedy needs to grab me in a world with truly brilliant comedies like Corporate and Kimmy Schmidt.

Couldn't watch it after the first episode. Toying on stereotypes, can you be any less creative than that? Main character is a stereotypical white male who has enjoyed privileges all his life too. The jokes are NOT funny at all. The US TV networks are really making some below average shows these days.

This show is really funny. I don't like reviewing things online but I didn't expect to like this as much as I did. It's good. Give it a watch

It kinda feels like it's trying to be a more mainstream/PC version of It's Always Sunny. There are still some pretty hilarious and dark jokes, but overall it feels very lighthearted in comparison. It's also basically just Dennis off on his own (feels like the next season of It's Always Sunny, if the next season focused on Dennis trying to change his life).

    There are definitely funny

There are definitely funny moments, but not near as many as Sunny. Every other character sucks... Just not interesting, or plain annoying.

Concentrate on your masterpiece, Dennis. I can't see this getting traction...

A.P. Bio is just staggeringly unfunny, a clunky mess of a sitcom that has no idea how to innovate beyond its setup--nor any sense of what about its material is actually comedic.

At times, A.P. Bio struggles to build a bridge between what’s happening in Jack’s classroom and the rest of Whitlock, but the performances in the B-plots are so uniformly strong, they practically justify these digressions all on their own.

Howerton makes the most of his central ribald rogue role while Oswalt seemingly was built to be a bumbler. Neither character is believably employed--if that really matters. Beyond that, A.P. Bio suffices as a teacher-student comedy.
