    This is a refreshing new concept to Agatha Christie’s mystery genre. I thought it was great and I hope Topic will buy Season 2 for the fans. Hjerson is a great character and makes the mystery come alive.

    Too technicolour for Nordic noir and not clever enough for Christie, Hjerson sailed along fine but wasn’t worthy of the top deck. Friday-night fluff, rather than Sunday-night class.

    Three complete mysteries are contained within the eight-episode season (which is subtitled in English), the second case, with its deep background on Svempa, being the best; the last, which involves a mystery writer’s fictional crimes being played out in reality, is the weakest. ... Has nothing if not a mischievous sense of humor, as well as a good-natured respect for Dame Agatha.
