Summary: After being chased by local tough guy Barney over a matter of five dollars, young shoe-shiner Timothy finds a mysterious old trunk. Upon taking this trunk back to his place and giving it a thorough inspection, he discovers it has a false bottom. Timothy decides to remove the bottom and investigate, but when he emerges from the trunk againAfter being chased by local tough guy Barney over a matter of five dollars, young shoe-shiner Timothy finds a mysterious old trunk. Upon taking this trunk back to his place and giving it a thorough inspection, he discovers it has a false bottom. Timothy decides to remove the bottom and investigate, but when he emerges from the trunk again he discovers that he is in 1875! He shortly thereafter meets Zachariah Gibson, a travelling medicine man. The duo's brief meeting is interrupted by a woman (Martha) who claims that Zachariah is a fraud and a cheat!… Expand
