Sorry it I just can't watch it....Too corny, not funny. Although there seem to be some great actors I. It the dialogue seemed forced.....I couldn't get past the first 10 minutes.

    Wow, this is bad.

OK, I've only seen the pilot. OK, I've only seen the first half of the pilot. I got halfway through and I punted. I don't remember a show where I bailed halfway through the pilot. This reminds me so much of the Paul Reiser Show. I enjoyed Mr Feuerstein's performances on Good Morning Miami and Royal Pains. The latter was a very good show, imo. But here,

But here, the 'in your face parents' are too much. Way too much.

I like the scenes in the lobby. I laughed with those. Kudos to Mr Murray and Mr Tsai.

But there is far too much of the interfering parents. Yeah, I know that is the premise of this series.

That's why I think it is doomed.

This show is not funny ! When will TV producers understand that laugh tracks does not make for good comedy scripts. Even the characters are not amusing. Watching this show is a total waste of time.

I watched a few episodes hoping it would be a light-hearted comedy, didn't expect much even though i was excited about Elliot Gould but sadly it doesn't even begin to entertain. The jokes are old and the premise is so terribly overused and it offers nothing new whatsoever. Mark Feuerstein has no charisma and is not funny at all, he made for lots and lots of cringing and made me wonder whoI watched a few episodes hoping it would be a light-hearted comedy, didn't expect much even though i was excited about Elliot Gould but sadly it doesn't even begin to entertain. As per network design, watched TBBT then had a half hour to kill before my next planned show. Kept the tv on CBS and this came on. Tried to watch but it was so bad that I had to change the channel. Plot bad, script bad, casting bad, acting - there wasn’t any. I’d also say the directing was bad, but there wasn’t a whole lot of evidence of any direction either. Addendum: CBS must be short on mid-season replacements, as they ordered an additional 3 episodes for this season. Hint: reruns of other shows would be better than this! Read the user reviews, CBS, this is a Turkey and it’s way past Thanksgiving! Down the garbage disposal already!

Keep seeing promos for this show and sometimes catch the end of it when turning on the television to watch something else. It has not gotten any better. Someone at CBS must have some kind of hidden deal with this show. It is so bad, and yet they still promote it like they want us to change our minds and start watching. Enough already!

This sitcom is so bad, one would expect to see it on ABC, not CBS!

Canceled! Why did it take so long?

It's just so typical. The parents act like little kids. The mother has always got her hair done to a tee and always in full makeup and acting stupid and giddy. The father of course, is always acting like a clueless fool. It's not believable. It seems very (if not over) rehearsed. Everyone is far too involved in each other’s business, because that’s how sitcoms work, but the show’s screechy self-loathing makes that seem damning and toxic rather than just antic and fun.

On the show, family hijinx ensue; out in the audience, it's more like self-lobotomies with machetes.

This is the sort of show that could just as easily have premiered in 1997, or 1987, or 1977. ... [The] waste of talent that is most irritating about 9JKL.
