The lead story tonight about Clarence Thomas, Supreme Court Justice who discusses his years in service with Steve Kroft, addresses his many critics. Surprisingly Thomas also talks about his past scandal with Anita Hill and his feelings about the confirmation hearings that lead to justice’s appointments (or not).
In our second story, Katie Couric investigates what appears to be an over-diagnosis of Bi-Polar Disorder in children. Rebecca Riley, just four years old, died from an overdose of medication for bi-polar disorder. Both doctors and parents are interviewed about the rising diagnosis of this previously ‘adult only’ disorder, in a million American children.
Finally, Scott Pelley talks with Vince Young, the Tennessee Titans’ quarterback considered NFL Hall of Fame material.
