Season 3 of 13 Reasons Why is the 2nd best season. Nothing will ever top the first season but this one came close. The acting was very well done and so was the writing. The only downside was they skipped back and fourth between present and past too much making it a little hard to keep up.

I would argue that season 3 was the most thought provoking of them all. Season 1 was controversial and possibly dangerously so, but season 3 had incredible character development with the exciting murder mystery playing out very intelligently. This season showed us that each character made their own mistakes, told their own lies. This makes us question and reevaluate what can be at stakeI would argue that season 3 was the most thought provoking of them all. Season 1 was controversial and possibly dangerously so, but season 3 had incredible character development with the exciting murder mystery playing out very intelligently. This season showed us that each character made their own mistakes, told their own lies. This makes us question and reevaluate what can be at stake when you do not tell the truth. Furthermore, the writers explored the 'evil' characters in more depth than any show I know. The empathy we develop for Bryce causes an incredibly uncomfortable feeling but somehow leaves us with hope for Bryce. Also, the fact that Tyler was taken under the wing of his friends is being criticised, but in reality a school shooter would never end up being stopped like that, which makes this new dynamic between them in the show incredibly exciting. The outcast, damaged Tyler would not have been healed in the same way if they had just told him to get professional help. It showed us how someone could ever get into that kind of state and how easy it is to reach out to someone being bullied and show them the light through meaningful actions and friendship.

Thoroughly enjoyed this season, emotional and thrilling in every episode.

Amazing, better than the first two combined.
I think it’s well worth watching because it’s story line is amazing.

It's good, the series is very good, I think that each distribution role is good and makes you feel too much with the actors.

Infuriating. Ridiculous. Inexplicably overlong. And yet there is something here... an empathy and a love of humanity that makes me think the world will be a better place when the current people in power (people of my age) die and today's younger generation take over. Seriously, there are moments in this season where I wonder if the screenwriters were lucid, but does it ever make up for it with a handful of incredible powerfully scenes and a heart that understands that everyone is a just a different shade of grey. Is it enough overall to make up for some of the artistic problems? Maybe, maybe not, but this is much, much better than a 23 show. Expand

I liked S3, it was entertaining to me. By all means, this season isn't perfect, so to speak, but at least better than S2. I liked the mystery aspect of this season, making the viewer think, "So who did kill Bryce?" and the answer pretty much shocked everyone. Don't trust the people who say S3 was bad, watch it to know.

By focusing on rehabbing the image of a rapist, “13 Reasons Why” Season 3 quickly proves it’s creatively bankrupt. But only after watching all 13 hours of the new season do you learn that even the rehab was for naught, which makes the whole season one big confounding waste of time.

Misguided, narratively preposterous, and arguably offensive season. ... I’m not sure what complex moral issues the season thought it was exploring when it comes to good vs. bad, abusers, survivors, and the connection between rape culture and jock culture. But in the end the series becomes, basically, How to (Barely) Get Away With Murder.

The third season of 13 Reasons Why is a ridiculous, maddening, overlong example of Peak TV-era television that doesn’t know how to quit when it’s ahead. It irritated me to no end.
