The story and aforementioned items are definitely worth the price of admission. Just be wary of what you are getting into before taking the plunge.

There is plenty here to keep you occupied for at least 20 hours if you want to max everything out. Some may be a bit disappointed in the size by comparison, but for $40 this game is twice as long as most full-priced titles.

Punch-Out!! with a fantasy spin, Rage of the Gladiator packs an admirable punch into its 40MB package. Bright colors and diverse tactics keep each fight exciting and challenging.

Sadly the end result is that when its put up against the tower defense titles on the PC it really can't compete.

The game is one of the hardest in the series, the bosses are still awesome and the old-school challenges will keep you pulling your hair out for months.

Scrap Metal is definitely a solid addition to the XBLA library and definitely shines when played online.

Truly a remarkable title that fans of the original will appreciate. If you like fighting games and have already experienced Arc's latest this version is certainly not going to deliver a brand new experience; in fact it may frustrate you due to technical limitations. However, if you love fighting games and don't mind playing them on a portable console with cramped controls you will be hard pressed to find a better experience out there.

One of the best games that I have played so far this year. The team at Square Enix has really taken a leap in the right direction for the JRPG genre. They have made a gorgeous game that is fun to play, yet at times challenging and rewarding.

Desperate Escape will likely please the action-oriented fans of the series, but those that prefer the refreshing take Lost in Nightmares delivered, should probably stay away.

Toy Soldiers is a nice introduction to the Block Party, and a game that should entice fans of the genre. If you are worn out on tower defense this game will certainly not pull you back in, but for those still digging it, this is one of the best on the service.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 is by all intents and purposes a fantastic follow-up to the original game. All of the great ideas that fell short have now come to light, and the return of classic Battlefield online make this the game to own for online shooter fans.

The game is really amazing, the destruction adds a great level of immersion and gameplay, everything feels polished, and the attention and respect the PC version has gotten has been a hit for Dice as they reported that the PC version of the game is the highest seller right now beating out the 360 and PS3.

With a solid start for MyPlayer mode, and a strong big picture batting and pitching mechanic in place, I'm quite optimistic for the 11th iteration of MLB 2k.

A must buy for any baseball fan. It is up there with some of the best baseball games of all time, and is one that deserves to go on your shelf. Sony literally hit it out of the park this year.

Alice in Wonderland is a delightful change of pace from the usual drivel the Wii churns out from third party developers. The environments are faithful to the movie; the adventure is fun and diverse enough for kids to enjoy, and the focus on making the game accessible all serve it well. This is one game that manages to satisfy all of the criteria of being a solid movie tie-in while not sacrificing the normal quality aspects to get there.

Age of Zombies is a fun romp that includes all the essentials to make it stand out. The only concern I had was the price-to-content ratio. The game is extremely repetitive and can really give your fingers cramps if playing on a PSPgo.

The new content makes the game feel fresh once again, and the size and scope are absolutely amazing when you consider this is a download-only expansion. It is sad that this may in fact be the final DLC for the game, but if it is, what an incredible way to go out.

It can get a little frustrating and confusing at times, but once you start to get that hang of the elements at play here, you will find a very fun game that is worth your attention and time, even in the sea of great games that are on the market this spring.

Sound is a mixed bag. The soundtrack is absolutely stunning. The tempo of the music picks up at just the right time and the score is so well constructed it feels like a blockbuster movie soundtrack. The voice work on the other hand suffers as much as it succeeds.

Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing is the kind of game that you expect to be yet another failed attempt to overthrow Mario Kart, but it ends up giving it a run for its money. It is certainly not as deep or as finely tuned, but it is definitely one of the better kart racing games to come along since the notorious CTR.

Last Rebellion is a game that will likely become a niche title down the road, and for good reason. The combat system is definitely something special. If only everything else had come together this game could have easily been a must-own.
