For fans of the series, you all pretty much know what you’re getting into with Dynasty Warriors 8. For newcomers looking for a fun time killing droves and droves of enemies, you have found your game.- ZTGD

Midway has done a nice job of correcting most of the mistakes from last year's game, but the sore visuals and lack of overall polish keep this game from achieving greatness.- ZTGD

With a substantial campaign mode, excellent online and a great customization aspect Namco Bandai's latest is one of the better attempts at the genre on a console.- ZTGD

Although the DLC doesn't really differ much in the way of gameplay, the story is solid and fun to play through. Even the side quests are entertaining. Add to that the new loot, enchanting and ability systems, and Treasures of the Sun is a piece of DLC that no Dungeon Siege III fan should be without.- ZTGD

TouchMaster 2 is a solid follow-up to last year's surprisingly addictive DS title. Everything you loved about the first one is intact outside of online leader boards and the collection of games this time around is much more diverse providing a more entertaining experience all around.- ZTGD

I prefer the control scheme and very kid-friendly theme of Light the Night enough that I'm basically happy it exists. There's certainly some conflict about the derivative nature of the game, but it distinguishes itself just enough for me to like it distinctly better than Jetpack Joyride.- ZTGD

I can’t bring myself to award Goat Simulator an outstanding score because it’s not an outstanding game, by its own admission. There are many, many things wrong with it. Yet I can’t also deny the fact that it’s enjoyable – it’s funny, it’s a ridiculous ride and it (obviously) doesn’t purport to be anything other than a bit of a laugh.- ZTGD

If you enjoy the typical waggle-sports found on the console Wii Ski will likely please you, if you are still not a believer in motion control there is little here to advance the medium, just a lot of mindless fun to be had.- ZTGD

The bittersweet reality is that Dark Arisen is an incredible package for the price tag, just know what you are getting into. The new area is only for the hardest of the hardcore, so be prepared to die.- ZTGD

It’s simple but deceptively deep and addictive. It’s not the definitive title in the series that will turn naysayers into fans, but at a modest $6.99, it’s a good distraction to have on the go.- ZTGD

Atari Mania is a great trip down memory lane with a unique twist on the micro-game genre. There are misses here, but there are just as many hits in the mini-games. For kids like me who grew up with these consoles it is fun to see them interpreted in a new way. I wish it was more polished, but this has truly primed me for the massive 50th Anniversary Collection set to release in November.- ZTGD

Triangle Strategy wasn’t the game I thought it was when I accepted the review assignment, but I am glad I did because after I really got into the game I enjoyed the story, and the extremely tough decisions it asks the player to make. Triangle Strategy isn’t a perfect game but it is a really good time.- ZTGD

Brookhaven is a fun place to visit. It can be a bit traumatic for some players, or scary even. I was more tense than scared, but it accomplished what I feel the devs were going for.- ZTGD

Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment is a solid edition to the downloadable libraries of both the PSN and XBLA. The SRPG genre is not overly represented on either service and this addition is comprised of both quality and substance.- ZTGD

For those that have never played it, they may either love it or hate it depending on how well they adapt to the grid-based movement. Fans of the original 2006 release who are looking to try the game out again will have a fun time here. While it’s not the best port of a PC action RPG, it has the makings of a fun time with up to five buddies online. Granted, local co-op should have been in there, but this is still a very competent RPG that I think any fans of Diablo will enjoy at a great price.- ZTGD

Dead in Vinland is a survival game I really appreciated, and I will dive into it again. My only wish is that the developers had a randomization option that focused strictly on how long I can survive rather than focusing on a story as well as the campaign, but for what it is, Dead in Vinland is a great survival management game for those who panic at seeing hunger meters rapidly increase in real time.- ZTGD

Fenix Furia is a test of patience and fortitude. It is hard not to recommend for players who have perseverance. The pinpoint controls and addictive level design keep me coming back for more. For those that have exhausted Super Meat Boy, this is the perfect compliment.- ZTGD

There are two sides to The Nightmare Princess. As a standalone package it is impressive. The original game plus the new additions are more than worth the price. The downside is if players already owned the original, there is no simple way to upgrade. It is all or nothing.- ZTGD

Oninaki is my favorite Tokyo RPG Factory game to date, with its gorgeous art style and melodic music and its more appealing storyline. It may be far from perfect, but it is certainly worth a look if you fancy a slightly different take on a well-established genre.- ZTGD

Ninja Five-O is a hidden gem from the GBA that was sadly lost to time. I am thrilled it is now readily available, at least if you own something besides an Xbox. Seriously Microsoft, get this worked out. It doesn’t have a ton of extras that make this package feel as premium as it should, but the game makes up for it. This is a game that deserves to be played, so if you enjoy classic ninja action, this game would make Michael Dudikoff proud.- ZTGD

I expect and hope for a sequel. Just know that going into this game that there is a lot of tedious nonsense to pad out a really good game to make it feel more worth every dollar, much to its detriment. I want to give this game a better score because the best moments are so good, but the large portion of this game is so bloody tiring that I just can’t.- ZTGD
