Sure, it is slow and methodical at times and downright boring at others, but a good sword slashing game is just what you need to give you a break from all the guns found in most games. I just wish more care had been applied to the functionality of the game. As it stands, Cursed Crusade is the definition of disappointing.- ZTGD

Aside from a few very rare moments of fun, that’s ultimately the problem with Drive Girls. It has a unique premise but nothing else stands out, and what is left is a game that is neither very fun, very memorable, nor even interesting. It’s a game that I could only recommend to the utmost hardcore fans of niche games, and that’s knowing all the caveats. It’s just a title I couldn’t get into, I couldn’t enjoy, and ultimately felt like barely any effort was put into to make it engaging or stand out. The premise alone sounds so interesting, so its makes the final results hurt even more. This is one flat tire.- ZTGD

The original game is still more complete, and more fun, than the 3DS version, and it is 15 years old.- ZTGD

As an exercise in fan service, Back to the Multiverse hits a lot of notes that fans of the series will recognize and appreciate. It's certainly offensive, but so is the source material, so that shouldn't be a surprise. As a game, it's a very average third person shooter that doesn't do anything special, but doesn't do anything horrible either.- ZTGD

The controls are busted, the AI is pathetic, and even with online play you will grow tired of it within an hour of game time.- ZTGD

R.I.P.D. is not a bad game, just a simple one. It is something I would recommend hammering out in a weekend with a buddy over some beers, and likely never playing it again. Still, for ten bucks it is worth that weekend if there is nothing else to keep you occupied. I had fun with it, and that is more than I can say for most $10 titles, especially ones with a useless movie license tied to them.- ZTGD

The core skating feels good, but never satisfying, and everything surrounding it just feels flat. I wanted this to the be the resurgence of the series, but it feels more like a budget game wrapped in a AAA game price.- ZTGD

CrossfireX is a bad game in its current state, the developers have committed to fixing quite a few of the issues with the game with controls being one of them. But we have to review the product that was given and not the one we hope it to be and as I said CrossfireX is bad. It is available on Xbox Game Pass currently, which makes it easier for me to tell people to give it a try, but I warn you, you wont like what you see. (That is a line from The Shadow if you didn’t know…I’m a movie nerd too) Basically that’s it, if you wanna give it a shot then the price of admission is awesome and maybe you will be one who will find something to like here. As for me, I’ll give this a few patches and come back and see if the game has improved because right now, I most assuredly did not get caught up in CrossfireX.- ZTGD

There are only seven missions in the campaign, and you revisit three of them, so variety is shot. Amazingly, that is it. There is no forced multiplayer thrown in, or even a split screen option for a lame co-op endeavor. You get these seven missions, none of which are very fun, and this is still sitting at $60. I cannot imagine who this appeals to.- ZTGD

There is the sense that this was a quick and dirty project, created for who knows what reason, but here it is, and it’s only recommended for players extremely curious.- ZTGD

Aside from about fifteen minutes of nostalgia and the title screen, there really is no need to play this game unless you are some kind of sadist. It pains me to say this, but Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time is still the last great TMNT game.- ZTGD

Project Root delivers on its promise of a bullet-hell style game with twin stick controls, but the mixture comes with plenty of issues. Those looking for a grindy-challenging affair that is mechanically sound will not find their money wasted, but I still wish it was fine-tuned for a more enjoyable experience.- ZTGD

I recommend renting the game if you have even the slightest interest in either genre or if you find it at around the $30 mark then don't hesitate to indulge. However, don't expect it to change the way you play either type of game.- ZTGD

Rock Revolution is a bad attempt at cashing in on the genre. It really does nothing to separate itself and actually siphons most of the enjoyment out of playing music games.- ZTGD

When I first heard about Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor I was intrigued. As the first Kinect game that required a controller as well, it had the potential to provide the fun of motion controls while maintaining the prevision of a controller. Unfortunately the motion controls, especially the one most basic to the game, simply do not work. After about 15 tries I was able to successfully complete the first mission, although at that point it seemed like more random chance than anything I had done differently or better.- ZTGD

Overall I was left feeling empty whilst playing Randall. A game that tried very hard to shine with its varying gameplay styles, but ends up failing on all fronts; and totally messes up the platforming elements, making it frustrating to play.- ZTGD

If you can’t tell, I didn’t like Doctor Who: Edge of Reality in this iteration. Had I played this in VR I think some of my issues would have been resolved, but the mistreatment of both Doctors is quite unforgivable and would be a huge issue in either version of the game. While I think it is almost as hard to make a good Doctor Who game as it is to make a good Star Trek game, I appreciate that studios keep trying different things… but this ain’t it bruh.- ZTGD

The game itself is a proficient attempt and honestly not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. While the multi-player is easily the most disappointing aspect of the game fans of the genre that simply cannot get enough World War II action will find enough here to warrant a weekend rental.- ZTGD

Anyone who like unfairly hard games may enjoy this but everyone else should just skip this game. I waited to see if a patch would maybe make it better but that patch never came. I can’t say it isn’t worth the time or money because I’m sure someone will enjoy it, but there are so many better stealth and action games out there that I refuse to put a price point on any half baked recommendation I could give this. Just don’t pay full price because that is highway robbery.- ZTGD
