Black Ops is another addition to the Call of Duty franchise but shows the same flaws as its predecessor. The multiplayer has improved, but a franchise of this stature should know how to get rid of the mistakes from the past.

Madden NFL 16 returns with a greater focus on receivers and quarterbacks, throw and catch the ball like you really want to throw it. The gameplay combined with the all new Draft Champions mode makes this the best football game over the last few years.

3D Dot Game Heroes was clearly inspired by the good, old Zelda games and does it in a way that would make Miyamoto proud. The game is challenging and has enough variety to stay entertaining until the very end.

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is an ultimate realistic shooter. For some this can be the reason to ignore this game. But for those who seek a good challenge, this is just the right shooter.

Besides the obvious visual improvements, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD offers a clearly enhanced experience compared to the original Wii title. First and foremost the button controls offer a near-perfect alternative to the formerly mandatory motion controls, making the game more accessible. Beyond that, a lot of the original's hand-holding has been removed, leading to fewer interruptions of gameplay. The game still has other flaws, but the HD version does a lot to bring out the good of the game.

The story may not live up to its potential and the audio may lag online, but Street Fighter X Tekken is a great game with some pretty cool new features and an awesome cast.

Victor Vran is a fresh breeze in the world of Dungeon Crawlers. The improved control of the character and the weapon-system gives it a unique feel, despite the generic levels and enemies.

The first episode of the second season is the beginning of something beautiful. The emotional and impressive story is still there and Clementine is the perfect person to bring us through the emotional rollercoaster that is The Walking Dead.

When a game is delayed for a long time, it usually doesn't bode well. But Dambuster Studios has delivered a strong zombie-slayer in Dead Island 2, with a lot of content, loads of weapons and anatomically correct zombies. It does have some technical issues, but that doesn't stand in the way of fun.

Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon is a blast to play, thanks to it's intriguing story, immersive gameplay and gorgeous visuals. It is a pity that there is not a lot of new gameplay to be found, but still the whole package succeeds to deliver.

WipEout is back for one last collection. It has three of the best WipEout games, a lot of tracks, ships and a bombshell of a soundtrack. And, it is totally overhauled to today's standards. If you have a PlayStation 4, you must own this.

For a seemingly simple game there is a lot to discover in Mario Sports Superstars. Everyone can instantly play this game, but there is enough content to keep coming back to it. The horse racing is also a fun new addition to the Mario sports series.

SpongeBob's renewed adventure is the return of an iconic platformer we all once embraced. The game looks good and refers to a lot of hilarious situations from the cartoons. You simply can't help to smile a lot during the game, but the controls are not nearly as good. They are barely touched and feel outdated which makes the game less good than an average patty.

Starcraft Remastered is an ode to the amazing original. Blizzard kept it exactly the same as the old title, which means they both play on the same servers, but it also means old annoyances return. But all in all it's a beautiful update for a true classic.

Dimps has listened to the Dragon Ball fans, that much is clear. Xenoverse 2 features more multiplayer options, streamlined gameplay and hours of entertainment. Still, it misses the co-op Story Mode and all-over it feels like a huge upgrade.

Another Code: Recollection greatly expands on and alters the content of the original titles, even when it doesn't strictly need to. This applies to story details as well. Most or all changes are improvements, but some existing fans may understandably prefer the older versions. Thanks to entirely new puzzles the game occasionally feels brand new and rather unlike a remake. New visuals and voice acting make these games a richer experience than ever, something that the occasional ugly foliage doesn't hamper.

Maybe the game is not as epic as the last entry in the franchise, but People Can Fly didn't cut back on the quality. The new weapons, multiplayer modes and the new enemies in this game make this Gears of War a worthy addition to the franchise.
