A bigger, darker sequel that expands the original’s beautiful world with stronger puzzles, deeper storytelling, and a more emotional adventure.

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. is a game every fan of the dogfight genre should buy. But other gamers that are not into air planes, will find a very nice game as well.

Even though Bayonetta 2 is very much like the first one in the franchise, it is lovely to hack and slash around with the oversexualised Cereza. The animal transformations of the witch are awesome and it is a very solid game for hours of fun.

In Episode 3 - In Harm's Way the story starts to pick up steam making us more psyched about the rest of the season by the minute. Clementine and her friends are still being hunted down by bloodthirsty monsters this episode. And then there are also the zombies, of course.

Crown of the Sunken King shows a side of the Dark Souls-universe we have never seen before. In stead of focusing on puzzles, this expansion makes you solve puzzles in a very Zelda-esque way. Of course there are still enough big bosses to fight through, but the level design is the star in this DLC.

Because of all the new features this is the best Buzz game made so far. So therefore it's an absolutely must have title for people who like to challenge their own knowledge.

Donkey Kong has arrived and did it in style. Rabbids style that is, because the world of DK has been invaded by Rabbids in this DLC. It’s a hilarious addition to a great game, but has a few minor flaws. Still, if you have the game, you need this too.

Deck13 has learned from the first game and it has notably improved The Surge 2. Combat is visceral and fluid and the limb-targeting system remains brilliant. The level design has greatly improved and the boss fights stand out more, although there are a couple of dull fights left. The developer still needs to learn how to write an interesting story though, because this one couldn't peak our interest.

The singleplayer storyline is far from interesting but the awesome gameplay makes up for it. R.U.S.E. brings a fresh breeze into the RTS genre and strategists will have, without a doubt, tons of fun with this game.

Six is back, and this time the nightmare feels bigger and more personal than ever. The VR experience is highly immersive, pulling you into its twisted world. It’s scary, haunting, and adventurous, though during intense moments the controls can feel slightly clunky and break immersion.

Mario Kart 8 is one of the best Wii U games out on the market so far. Everything you would expect in a Nintendo game is in it. The lack of innovation is probably the only downside of this game, nevertheless this could be a worldwide hit when it arrives at the stores.

New maps are fast paced, compact and interesting. Above all the new maps are very colourful and bright. Detailing in Verge and Knockout finishes of the Eclipse DLC. Zombie map, Zetsobou no Shima, comes with new interesting puzzles.

The fantastic music blends in perfectly with the beautiful graphics, making Child of Eden a very hypnotic experience at times. Kinect registers everything smoothly and people that have Kinect in their homes should be forced to buy this game! Child of Eden's campaign only lasts for an hour and a half but you'll play every level over and over again.

F1 2020 improves directly on the previous Formula 1 game from Codemasters. With MyTeam the developer has created the most complete career mode so far. The AI is also much more intense to fight in battles on track, which keeps singleplayer races interesting. Furthermore with the casual mode Codemasters have implemented every beginning driver can enjoy the F1 experience.

Although the game has some flaws, Crash 4 is a joy to play thanks to a great deal of content. The platforming action will bring a smile to your face, no matter if you're a fan from back in the day or if this is your first Crash title.

Huntdown is a tribute to eighties movies and games. It combines the action from titles as Streets of Rage and movies like The Warriors and Last Action Hero in a side-scrolling shooter, which is best enjoyed in co-op. That way the game really gets to shine and entertain you with all its glory. Shooting hundreds of enemies in four worlds never was so much fun together, even if there are a few things off balance at some moments.

Dungeon Defenders shows us a new side of the tower defense genre. This game is build around its great co-op multiplayer mode and thus, the singleplayer isn't as strong and can even be considered boring. Nevertheless Dungeon Defenders is a fantastic game that takes the tower defense to new heights.

Wasteland 3 is an excellent RPG by keeping the spirit of the original, while also borrowing from Xcom. While the load times get in the way sometimes, there is no denying that you need to play this game if you love a great story with an edge.

God of War: Ascension does exactly what you would expect from a God of War title. The sheer amount of violence and tension is simply breathtaking, especially when taking place right on top of a giant creature. The entire experience is accompanied by stunning graphics and an impressive soundtrack. While the multiplayer is somewhat disappointing, it is apparent that Kratos is still this generation's most fearsome warrior.

Max Payne 3 is not as revolutionary as the original, still this third-person shooter is one of the best games of 2012 so far. With it's phenomenal animations, suberb shoot-outs and it's breathtaking singleplayer it's a must have for shooterfans. Apart from a couple asperities as annoying checkpoints and a lack of variety, there is little to complain about Max Payne 3.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is a fantastic addition to the franchise even though it takes a good while to get into it. Thanks to amazing combat and a rich story you constantly want to keep playing. It might not be the prettiest open-world game out there, but this JRPG is for sure one of the best titles of the year.
