Dirt 3 is better than its predecessor. The Gymkhana mode is fun and offers some variety. The rally-racing is thrilling and challenging.- Videogameszone.de

Top Spin 4 offers a lot of emotion on the court. The controls are very good but you will need a lot of time to master timing in every situation.- Videogameszone.de

This clash of the fighting game titans offers a huge selection of heroes from both worlds and many welcome changes and additons to the superb fighting mechanics of (Super) Street Fighter 4. Although Tekken fans will have to adapt to the different system with 2D gameplay and six-button-controls, they will find most of the signature moves of their favourite brawlers. However, Capcom's new Gem system is disputable and might give players an advantage who are willing to spend extra money for Gem-DLCs. Compared to the huge selection of game modes in the recently released Soul Calibur 5, Capcom's new title feels a little rawboned.- Videogameszone.de

Darksiders 2 is not perfect but a really good game. The beautiful design and the new hero are truly entertaining. A lot of RPG elements mean one step forward for the Darksiders series. Some levels in the game were unnecessarily drawn out but the rest of the game is brilliant.- Videogameszone.de

Bungie's last Halo game is a great prequel to the Xbox 360's most important franchise. However the game is not as excellent as we had hoped it would be. While playing through the campaign we were missing those special moments we experienced during the first three games of the series. The multiplayer part of the game is - once again - awesome.- Videogameszone.de

There are only a few improvements compared to the first de Blob. The soundtrack is groovy, the gameplay is fun and altogether it is a wonderful and charming Jump&Run.- Videogameszone.de

Thanks to the God of War Collection: Volume II all parts of the series are now playable on the PlayStation 3. Running at a native 720p and 60 Frames and upgraded with a nice 3D-Mode, both games are still top-action-games and should not be missed by anyone, who is into adult, story-driven action games.- Videogameszone.de

Too bad Lara isn't actually all alone on this gorgeous mystery island. Instead, she drags a bunch of wholly unlikeable characters around with her, which lessens the fun to be had in exploring and finding secrets. Apart from that, Tomb Raider is one almost flawlessly-executed action blockbuster with more than just a hint of Uncharted to it.- Videogameszone.de

The remake of the well-known blockbuster game Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence (PS2) takes advantage on the touch screen for quick and easy equipping of items and weapons and offers enhanced graphics due to the auto-stereoscopic 3D viewing capability of the Nintendo 3DS. Snake Eater 3D also supports the new Circle Pad Pro and utilizes the Gyro Sensor for an improved gameplay experience. The great storyline of the single-player mode, which tells the very first chapter of the whole Metal Gear Solid series, is a fair compensation for the lack of a multiplayer mode.- Videogameszone.de

Some aspects of Rage leave you with the feeling that there could have been more. More open world, more story, more driving. More meaning. Still, Rage is a brilliant shooter from people who know exactly how a perfect shoot-out needs to be. If you love a good gunfight on your screen, this game is for you.- Videogameszone.de

The new battle system and the action gameplay are nice. Only the level design is obviously too repetitive. The game looks and feels a lot more accessible than its predecessor.- Videogameszone.de

Cole MacGrath is once again reluctantly playing the hero, trying to destroy his nemesis The Beast. With all new abilities, frost- and fire-attacks, a new melee system and a vivid city, Infamous 2 beats his predecessor in all areas. It suffers from a few technical issues though and the controls are a bit rough here and there. Also the AI tends to alternate between good and awful.- Videogameszone.de

A surprise hit par excellence! The charm of it lies in the dark, atmospheric levels, tough enemies and intensive, demanding combat mechanics whereas the unforgiving level of difficulty will drive you nuts. But we promise: After defeating the first cruel boss-encounters, you'll definitely come back for more since Demon's Souls is as satisfyingly great as it is insanely challenging!- Videogameszone.de

The look of the new Smackdown game is a mess. The gameplay is very solid but next year there must be a complete graphical remolding of the series. We mostly liked the online Royal Rumble with up to 12 players.- Videogameszone.de

Stunning visuals, challenging gameplay-tweaks and new game modes - the fifth installment is an excellent comeback for the Soul Calibur series. Because of the confusing training mode and the lack of a tutorial, getting behind the new fighting techniques can be difficult at first. But it's well worth putting time and effort into this, as the fights will become more and more thrilling.- Videogameszone.de

Fantastic visuals, fast combat and clever nanosuit mechanics more than compensate for some linear level design, a mediocre story and unvaried enemy design. It's not as good as the first game in the series, but it's a great shooter nonetheless.- Videogameszone.de

Although very short on modes and true innovation, the title refines the proven DoA-formula and offers one of the smoothest fighting games of the current generations. The systems are easy to understand, hard to master and the visual presentation is better than ever before.- Videogameszone.de
