ESport Manager has a solid premise and some cool simulation elements but the actual matches are way too easy to exploit.

If the developers tightened up Fin and the Ancient Mystery's gameplay, it could be a rather enjoyable 2D action RPG.

Whipseey and the Lost Atlas may be a cute and somewhat fun 2D platformer but it's a bit too unforgiving as well as incredibly short.

It may have a promising premise but Post War Dreams executes its vision poorly and it's definitely not optimized for consoles.

If video games taught me anything, it's that senseless violence is fun. Okay, perhaps that isn't true but it's definitely the case in Hotline Miami. I just wish that this collection featured some extras to justify its re-release.

Hopefully, Supermassive Games can learn from what went wrong here and apply it to their next projects. For now, Man of Medan is simply not worth playing and I recommend skipping it entirely.

With a perfect blend of high-octane action and enjoyable laidback moments in-between, Astral Chain presents a masterfully immersive campaign. In the end, it's certainly the next must-have game for Nintendo Switch.

Crystar presents a truly unique and consistent game world with simple and enjoyable action RPG dungeon crawling. However, its gameplay gets to a point where it feels all too samey which means that it's best enjoyed in short bursts.

Control is truly unforgettable with loads of ways to play, terrific acting, lots to explore, satisfying gunplay and abilities, and a spectacular world and story to experience. I can't wait to dive back in with the couple of DLC packs already planned.

Even as a huge fan of the series, it's difficult to thoroughly enjoy Wonder Boy in Monster Land in this day and age. That being said, playing it is a great way to experience the origins of the franchise that we know and love.

Oninaki is a solid action RPG with striking visuals and a compelling story if you're willing to dig into it. Although it has a few less than ideal elements, what's here still adds up to one rewarding and captivating adventure.

With an epic story, lasting consequences for decisions, and combat that's more enjoyable than ever, Fire Emblem: Three Houses is sure to satisfy. Ultimately, it isn't without faults yet it's still a top-notch entry in the series and one of 2019's best games.

I eventually enjoyed Ancestors Legacy but I wanted to quit many times within my first 20 hours and that's not a good sign. Simply put, most missions are just way too slow. If the developers sped up battles, unit production, and movement speed; it would alleviate the tedium a great deal. In the end, I highly recommend playing Ancestors Legacy on PC and reading a guide before you get started.

If you're looking for an enjoyable online multiplayer game for Switch then you could do a lot worse than Friday the 13th: The Game Ultimate Slasher Edition. As long as you don't take the over-the-top violence too seriously, it can be a very fun game.

Ittle Dew may not contain a lengthy adventure but it's so packed with fun that I highly recommend it. Replaying this indie classic definitely made me excited for the prospect of Ittle Dew 3. Will it ever happen? By Itan's beard, I hope so.

As a huge Wonder Boy fan, I enjoyed Wonder Boy Returns Remix but it's definitely not a complete improvement over 2017's less than stellar offering. The fact that it's missing a lot of its content simply doesn't make much sense at all.

    Rad
RAD is the sort of roguelike that's enjoyable once everything starts to click but after that, repetition and frustration unfortunately rear their ugly mutated heads. It's still a fun game but one that you'll likely only pick up and play every once in a while.
