Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land presents an expansive and rewarding journey and I'm excited to see what the future has in store for the capable and lovely Yumia. This proves yet again that Atelier is up there with the best that RPGs have to offer.

As one of the best and most charming roguelikes in years, I highly recommend Whisker Squadron: Survivor, especially if you love kitties.

As a more open retro RPG with one of the cleverest premises that I've ever seen, Alter Age is a must-have for any old-school RPG enthusiast.

If you want to play something different then the unique retro RPG battle system in Dead Dragons is nifty albeit rather simplistic.

2D ninja action games don't get much more fully-featured than Ninja Issen: The Scroll of Dimension and its arsenal of skills is great fun.

I'm very happy to have finally experienced Ninja Five-O and if you enjoy retro 2D ninja-based action games, you're sure to love it, too.

Suikoden I&II HD Remaster is a great excuse to play 2 classics, especially Suikoden II which is one of the best RPGs ever made. Recruiting characters is still extremely enjoyable and it sets it apart from other RPGs so here's hoping for much more Suikoden in the future.

Just like in the classics, Carmen Sandiego hides its educational qualities behind an entertaining gameplay formula that folks of all ages can enjoy and who knows? Maybe you'll learn something while you capture VILE members through your globe-trotting adventures.

Whether you're being propelled through the air with the power of pig farts or tearing up thanks to an emotional reveal, Split Fiction is so densely packed with hilarity, heart, and hectic action that you'll never forget every moment you spent playing it with a friend.

If you're in the mood for some hack and slash fun and are a franchise fan or simply love anime characters, you'll have an entertaining time with SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream for sure. It may get repetitive but you're sure to pick it up whenever you want a quick fix.

If you're a new player looking for your next strategy game fix, you definitely can't go wrong with Sid Meier's Civilization VII. However, other than the ages system, I'm hard-pressed to think of what I'm excited about in this new entry when I could just play the previous installment.

I had a lovely time with Two Point Museum and it's clearly the best, most refined, and unique game in the series so far. It's so great that I'm super-excited to see what's next and how it could possibly top the exhibits on display here.

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage - Tape 1 is a fun nostalgic trip back to the '90s and the mechanic of making short clips on Swann's camcorder is a clever gameplay element that adds another welcoming layer to the mostly narrative experience.

Starting as a simple shooter then slowly evolving into something mind-blowing, I think it's safe to say that Genome Guardian is epic stuff.

I had a lot of fun traversing room after room as I shot adversaries with my ever-expanding arsenal so I'm sure you'll enjoy Star of Providence.

Piczle Cross: Rune Factory is my new favourite nonogram game next to Piczle Cross Adventure so definitely play it for some puzzle fun.

It's challenging, cute, old-school, and has a lot of variety so if you're looking for an arcade-style game then you're sure to love Freddy Farmer.

As one of the cutest and most laidback Metroidvanias I've played, I can easily recommend Jumper Jon to anyone looking for a breezy time.

As far as simple Metroidvanias go, Guns of Fury is a solid one that's definitely worth playing as long as you don't mind a little monotony.

Destructure: Among Debris is an incredibly fun and challenging brick-breaker that unfortunately suffers from some truly irritating bugs.

With explosive combat, rewarding exploration, and old-school lighthearted vibes, there's a lot to love about METAL SUITS: Counter-attack.

Smashing your opponent around destructible stages can be quite entertaining but this quick-time-based brawlfest doesn't have much longevity.

X-Out: Resurfaced is one of the easiest shoot 'em ups that I've ever played but its ship customisation is so fun that it's still a solid game.

As a fan of the first game, I'm very happy that Snezhinka exists as it's an improved iteration of an already great shooting formula.

After the gameplay really sunk in, I ended up having a blast with WARRIORS: Abyss but it definitely won't be everyone's cup of tea.

While Desvelado's protagonist was happy to make it back to their beloved coffin, I was kind of sad for it meant my time with them was already over. That's really the only bad thing I can say so that speaks volumes. A puzzle platformer with solid level design that looks good and controls well is one I can recommend to any fan of the genre.

I'm very happy to now have remastered editions of the first 6 Tomb Raider games even if those included in this collection aren't of the same level of quality as the iconic first 3. The poor lighting and lack of extras doesn't help but they're still highly enjoyable games overall.

It may be a unique game and strategising can be fun but the randomness of Luck be a Landlord makes it more mindless than it could be.
