Blood & Truth's story is about as gripping as trying to hold onto a bowling ball with greased up hands and its gameplay doesn't do much to make up for that. Add in a bunch of glitches and goofy moments and you're left with one disappointing VR experience.- Video Chums

Subsurface Circular does a good job with its graphics, sound, and storytelling. However, the brevity and lack of gameplay make it tough to recommend. It's clear that the developer is capable of something great but they stopped way too short to provide a meaningful and memorable experience.- Video Chums

With a ton of superior Soulslikes out there, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn simply feels unnecessary. It's the sort of game that seems like it was made to be Game Pass filler but even then, there are dozens upon dozens of better games available for the service.- Video Chums

Some gamers may appreciate Graveyard Keeper's grindfest of a campaign but those who are looking for something more immediately gratifying will likely become frustrated beyond repair with its convoluted systems and tedious tasks.- Video Chums

As a historical narrative told through a personal perspective, 1979 Revolution: Black Friday is certainly a capable piece of media but as a video game, it quickly falls apart and simply doesn't feel finished.- Video Chums

In the end, Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate is a mediocre Musou title. The action of wiping out giant hordes of enemies is exhilarating at first and the gameplay is rather polished but unfortunately, that's all there is to it and there's no feeling of escalation.- Video Chums

C-SMASH VRS is a simple tennis-like game that would be way better if there was no lag and single player content with AI opponents.- Video Chums

Hopefully, Supermassive Games can learn from what went wrong here and apply it to their next projects. For now, Man of Medan is simply not worth playing and I recommend skipping it entirely.- Video Chums

Playing The Callisto Protocol made me feel like I'm wasting my time and I rarely feel that way when I play video games. With simple and repetitive combat and a world that's completely void of tension yet still filled with absurd amounts of violence, it can go suck an egg.- Video Chums

Although it's set in the delightful Kirby universe, there's no denying that Blowout Blast is little more than a bare-bones and unchallenging experience. That being said, if you want to teach a toddler how to play video games then this is a solid entry point.- Video Chums

It's Quiz Time is definitely a promising trivia game with a good selection of ways to play but its reliance on basic and seemingly computer-generated questions makes it a tough game to recommend to trivia buffs.- Video Chums

Golf With Your Friends presents promising mini-golf fun with its variety of courses and modes but unfortunately, the fun to be had is hampered by overly simplistic core gameplay and some head-scratching glitches.- Video Chums

The Town of Light's setting in a real-world mental asylum was a clever idea but sadly, its poor graphics, mind-numbing pacing and general clunkiness mean that it doesn't take full advantage of its potential.- Video Chums

In the end, at least Windscape's graphics are fairly snazzy and you get a super-cool shield to pair with your weapons when you craft them. The maintenance wrench actually has moving parts and the shield that it comes with has a giant gear around it that moves in sync with the wrench. If the entire game had that level of love and finesse, it could have been a real gem.- Video Chums

At its core, Lichtspeer works as a simplistic arcade experience. Unfortunately, its blatant disregard for the average (and even the hardcore) gamer's enjoyment makes it a very difficult game to recommend.- Video Chums

As a huge fan of the series, I must say that Spelunker Party is one of the most disappointing video games that I've ever played. If you own a PlayStation 4 then do yourself a favour and download the free (and far superior) Spelunker World instead.- Video Chums

Observing all the retro references in The VideoKid is only exciting for a few minutes. Once the novelty wears off, you're left with a shallow and repetitive take on a classic arcade game that doesn't hold up well for today's standards.- Video Chums

A King's Tale is an interesting tie-in to the popular yet polarizing Final Fantasy XV. Retro fans will probably despise it due to its awful interpretation of classic beat 'em ups but its simple gameplay is easily digestible for casual gamers.- Video Chums

As a visual novel in 2017, The Silver Case is a huge disappointment. I definitely wouldn't recommend it to the average fan of the genre. However, if you're a Silver Case fan, the upgraded graphics and nostalgia factor should be enough to make it a worthy download.- Video Chums

With XCOM available for almost every platform, why anyone would play a subpar version of it is beyond me. Unfortunately, that's just what Jagged Alliance: Rage! is except with an admittedly clever sneaking component.- Video Chums

The Occupation is a classic example of a concept with great promise but poor execution. The massive amount of bugs that hamper progress and the lack of a proper stealth system constantly get in the way of being able to enjoy this admittedly unique experience.- Video Chums

SubaraCity is a simple game that you can easily master after you learn the little bit of strategy that's required. After that, you'll likely never play it again. The fact that there are no additional modes is puzzling indeed.- Video Chums

Other than those couple of points, I'm really struggling to say anything positive. Obduction is apparently getting a PlayStation VR patch soon which will make it more immersive but I really don't think it will improve on the tedium of its campaign. It would be better served by a patch that sorts out its technical issues but either way, it's still going to have the same monotonous gameplay.- Video Chums

8DAYS may have a solid premise but the execution of its mechanics isn't well handled. I imagine that if the developers retooled all of its irritating elements, 8DAYS would be an easily recommendable title. As it is, I doubt anyone could thorough enjoy it.- Video Chums
