With a lack of excitement and gameplay that feels more like a chore than a game, Survivor Mercs is a very difficult indie to thoroughly enjoy.

With a campaign that gets boring fast and gameplay that manages to be as tedious as it is frantic, it's hard to recommend this Cook Off.

It might be weird to say but Mineral reminded me of Death Stranding because it manages to be both boring and irritating at the same time.

There are so many awesome twin-stick shooters out there that playing The Legend of Cyber Cowboy frankly feels insulting.

Popotinho's Adventures isn't the worst platformer I've ever played but it's certainly far below the level of quality that one would expect.

The best part of Stellar Strider is its astronaut-themed achievements because the rest of the game will simply leave you annoyed.

Arsene Lupin: Once A Thief lets you play as both the thief and the detective while trying to thwart their crimes which is an interesting premise. However, the execution is lacking and it presents too many frustrating moments for me to recommend it.

Between Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports and Space Jam: A New Legacy - The Game, Bugs Bunny and friends sure haven't been treated well in recent years when it comes to video games. Here's hoping we get a remake of Time Busters; that was a fun game.

With a ton of superior Soulslikes out there, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn simply feels unnecessary. It's the sort of game that seems like it was made to be Game Pass filler but even then, there are dozens upon dozens of better games available for the service.

What happens when you slap a bunch of iconic sprites on a boring and tedious mobile game? You get METAL SLUG ATTACK RELOADED.

I had a few laughs with HappyFunland but as a game, it's not fun at all and its irritating control issues really make it a challenge.

Completing an entire game in one brief session feels odd yet Final Frog remains a playable little platformer that you might enjoy.

I'm kind of happy that a game named Dungholes is as bad as its title would make you think it is. I recommend avoiding it for sure.

It's hard to enjoy a game as rough around the edges as Purple Explorer is, especially with so many excellent 3D platformers out there.

One Last Breath's presentation is terrific but everything else about it is mediocre at best so unless you don't mind dealing with subpar puzzles and are a big fan of immersing yourself in a ruined world taken back by nature, I wouldn't bother with it.

I figured Shooting Blocks would be kind of fun but instead, it feels like the pre-alpha of a game that wouldn't have been good anyway.

Enchanted Portals looks great within its charming old-school cartoon world but it mostly plays like a bargain bin Super NES game.

C-SMASH VRS is a simple tennis-like game that would be way better if there was no lag and single player content with AI opponents.

I didn't expect much from Sugar Tanks but its slow albeit intuitive gameplay still managed to disappoint; it's not that sweet after all.

I wanted to enjoy ALTAIR BREAKER, especially after its promising tutorial but after diving into the meat of its gameplay, things start to fall apart fast. With that being said, I know that the developers can make a much better game so let's hope that they do in the future.

Playing The Callisto Protocol made me feel like I'm wasting my time and I rarely feel that way when I play video games. With simple and repetitive combat and a world that's completely void of tension yet still filled with absurd amounts of violence, it can go suck an egg.

As a fan of the original Joe and Mac, I must say that NEW Joe & Mac - Caveman Ninja is a huge disappointment as it features frustrating difficulty, floaty gameplay, and it's even missing some core elements that made the classic arcade game stand out as special.

Dungeon Munchies is a clunky and repetitive game that will oddly get its hooks in you once you begin to understand its unconventional gameplay. It's still an irritating experience, though, but one that is somewhat endearing with its off-the-wall humour.

If Space Jam: A New Legacy - The Game was given a lot more time in the oven, it could have been a pretty good beat 'em up. As it is, it feels like an alpha demo that still has a long way to go before it's ready for the general gaming public.

It may seem like a relaxing little puzzle game but Eat your letters ends up being a frustrating mess that you'll regret playing.
