Bioshock is everything we've been hoping it could be. It defines the action/adventure genre, combining the thrills of a FPS, the strategy of a RPG, the looks of a visual masterpiece, the sounds of an epic, and the story of a full-blown mystery. It's not perfect, but it's damn close.

I have never before had a gaming experience like it, and may never again... Simply put, Resident Evil 4 owns our souls.

My biggest beef with San Andreas is the implementation of the gang warfare system...It takes away a certain element that was found in the earlier games, that of the feeling that you were running an entire city.

Enemies will change what they say based on what's happening too, so if you go in guns blazing they may scream like a little girl, but if you duck behind an object they will taunt you for being a coward. All of this adds to the total immersion that you get from playing this game and that feeling is overwhelming.

Even if you own a Gamecube, this is the version you should be buying because I can’t imagine playing it any other way, nor would I want to.

It will go down as one of the few games that managed to live up to the insane hype it created.

If Morrowind defines the non-linear RPG genre, Oblivion adds clarity to that definition.

Ninja Gaiden Black may very well be the pinnacle of video gaming this generation.

My jaw also hit the floor when I had my first crash. In many racers cars just get a ding or probably no scratches at all. In Burnout 3 your car comes out looking like one of those high school driver's education videos.

Simply put, God of War is just about the best action game to date. The combat is astounding. The puzzles are well thought out, and the sound and environments create the perfect setting for it all.

Not everything is so perfect with San Andreas though. First and foremost, the graphics aren't really Xbox quality.

It’s the total package for any game of the genre to follow: user-friendly, deep character customization and plenty of replay value. World of Warcraft is a game you need to play.

It plays like a dream, looks like a dream, sinks its claws into you and won't let go.

Guitar Hero 2 is the definitive rock ‘n roll game. It’s got a highly impressive set list, addictive gameplay, online leaderboards, downloadable content and new multiplayer aspects. Whammy bar issue aside, this is one title you need to pick up.

Between the online gameplay, offline modes, car tweaking, and decal making, you'll be set for life with this game.

Mind, it’s still a decent game with gorgeous graphics and an incredible environment, but it possesses little of the magic that some of its predecessors have.

Outclasses "Madden NFL 2005" in all areas except for Franchise, but I would rather have the game that is simply more fun to play than having my eyes glare at stat menus for hours on end since that is what matters the most in a football game to me.

If you loved "RISK," you’ll feel right at home with this title.

The higher difficulty levels will have you crying for mercy unless you have a considerable amount of time for practicing, but all the real legends had to practice plenty too.

It all makes for a very fun experience, though it probably would have been even better with a dual analog setup. Something about locking onto enemies in a multiplayer context just feels like cheating.

Bottom line is once you get used to the difficulty of NG you'll enjoy it for the challenge it offers and the cool factor the entire game incorporates.

A downside: there is no way to communicate with your opponents in game or in the lobby, so you can’t really get a gauge for who you’re playing, which can lead to the looser disconnects that everyone loves so much.

It is quite easily the greatest title in its genre on the Xbox and you won't find a better substitution on the console.

The pinnacle not only of its series, but also of the current North American DS library. If you have even a passing interest in the strategy, genre it will suck you in. If you have never played a strategy game, this is a great series to jump into.

On top of the game's extended length, Pimin 2 also includes much more content than the original.

It does everything you want to expand the life out of Halo 2, and it is not asking a lot either for just $20.

Sure the health system is unrealistic and the multiplayer options may be a little drab, but the game itself is phenomenal. This is easily the best WWII shooter on the market and the best FPS on the Xbox 360.

This is the best arcade racer I have ever played.
